Sound Therapy is a holistic practice that uses sound and vibration to help to improve physical and emotional well being. The different frequencies of the instruments played in a sequence can influence our brainwaves to slow down, helping us to relax and create a feeling of calm.

Sound Therapy can help with reducing stress, calm the mind, improve sleep, reduce tension and rebalance our nervous system.

Arrive at 18.30 for hot teas and treats, then settle onto your mat for breath work, sound and relaxation.

Created with wisdom, by master Kusum Modak, AYMT is inspired by her knowledge of authentic yoga and Ayurvedic massage. The complete method counts on over 120 manoeuvres, allowing a tailored approach to each client.

Slow and deep touches characterise the method. Using natural oils and powders extracted from the medicinal plant cálamo, therapists perform deep work using a combination of glides, traction, and pressure with both the hands and feet. This stimulates the circulation and prepares the body for assisted stretches.

Overload from the reality of the workload that is often untenable, even before care responsibilities are brought into the picture.

And overwhelm from being sucked into the ‘way academia is done’, working for eternal progression (even if this is your dream, it can be exhausting), constantly saying yes and having no idea how to get out of the loop and/or just about keeping your head above water while juggling a career in academia and managing your care responsibilities, which can increase or decrease as soon as you turn your back, so you stay on alert 24/7.

Understanding your colour and style foundations lays the groundwork for creativity to grow, opening up new outfit possibilities and guiding you towards a signature style that feels aligned and sustainable.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Explanation of colour analysis and how the twelve part seasonal method works
  • Identify your dominant colour palette through the draping process and learn how wearing each colour can benefit your mood
  • Advice on make up & jewellery colours to complement your dominant season
  • Top tips on how to inject more colour into your wardrobe
  • Demonstration on how to style different colours together to create more interesting outfit combinations
  • You will receive your very own colour pallet to aid you with shopping going forwards (this will either be a colour fan or a bespoke digital pallet depending on your results) 
  • A follow up colour style pack will be emailed to you afterwards to refer back to as a guide, including links to suggested lipstick colours that complement your colour pallet. 

After the session you will be sent your reference photos, a few links to shop examples of basics in your colours, and you’ll receive a colour fan if you fit directly into one of the main four seasons.

As I use the twelve part seasonal method if you have a sub season you will have your photos for reference and I’ll create a digital bespoke colour palette that you can save to your devices to use as reference when shopping.
