Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at my parents house in Wallsburg. We had tons of fun being together, as all my family was there. After we ate dinner everyone said on thing that we were grateful for. Ethan and Caleb was in the other room. I called Ethan in and asked him what he was thankful for. He whispered to me "I'm grateful that everyone is here and I love all of them". It was the cutest thing that I had a hard time letting everyone else know what he said. Then later I asked Caleb what he was grateful for and he said "nothing". My kids are very different! I'm not sure if Caleb was just being a stinker or what.

Sunday Drive

Image
So we have the funeral for Roland (Roly) Holt. Ryan's Grandpa on Saturday and we needed a little break, so we went for a drive up in the Uinta Mountains. The boys had so much fun playing that they didn't want to leave. We have meant to get in the Mountains more this year, but the way things were going we didn't get up there as often as we would have liked. It was such a beautiful day with the sun shinning. We did get a tiny bit of snow, but that was OK. We even got stuck in the snow when Ryan was playing around. It really didn't matter because we were together and having so much fun laughing about it all. Here are some of the pictures that we took. Enjoy...

October Zoo Run

Image
We went to the zoo with Grandma Susan as Ethan had the day off due to cut backs at school. We had a great time running around looking at all the animals. They got some ice cream there. Ethan had to have grape flavor and Caleb bubble gum.

ImageCaleb on the spotted leopard. He was excited to have me ride with him! Caleb loves elephants, well at least that's what I thought before we went there. After I asked him what he liked the most and he said the rhinoceroses because it has a horn! How funny is that!

ImageEthan was so funny. He wanted me to take a picture of everything! He really wanted me to take this picture of him. I didn't know if it was going to turn out, but I think it looks great. Ethan still loves the lions, but we didn't see any there.

We went out and rode motorcycles in the hot sun this summer. I think that everyone was tired after. It was really hot but we did have a great time. We are going to be going riding some more this year. We are liking our new sport! We hope that everyone is having a great summer.

Here is Ethan looking like Larry the Cable Guy. I found my old vest from deer hunting at my parents house. Ethan wanted to ware it all over the place. He just looks so funny in this outfit.

Ethan 5th Birthday!

Image
Image
ImageEthan had a really fun 5th birthday. We all went swimming at the Kearns pool and after went to the park for cake and presents! We wanted to say thanks for everyone who came! Ethan was so excited to turn 5 that he asked on the Monday if he could go to school now that he was 5. I had to let him know that he has to wait for school to start.

Spring and Summer

Image
ImageHere are Ethan and Caleb riding their bikes at the park in the spring. They have been loving the park and going to the skate park as well. Ethan rides his bike so fast! Caleb doesn't really care all that much about going fast right now. He likes to stop and look at everything.
