Hi—my name is Ricky. I'm a writer, producer, project manager, game designer, coder, UI designer—I'm "the glue."  I do a little bit of all those things, and fill in the holes of game dev projects that are otherwise neglected or too much for teammates, holding everything tighter than industrial-grade Gorilla epoxy until projects get to completion. I also recruit, task, organize, motivate, and keep things alive. 

For indie projects, small-scale game designs are where my recently cardiologist-approved heart lies. I'm old as hell and building "a Red Dead Redemption 2-like western set in the 1940s, but a little bit smaller" on a $237 budget has fooled me once too many times.

Not many "glues" out there; only one exists in the entire world as far as I know (since I coined the term and may license the job title out for a nominal fee when entire games become AI slop that need someone to "humanize it"). When I'm not gluing, I'm critiquing—game designs and prose. I'm a hobbyist author on the side (but in the writing world, I'm a part-time game developer).

This is the part of the bio where the template says, "Have an interesting project? Let's chat!", but I'm up to my thinning scalp in pursuits.  Wish all indie developers out there the absolute [insert positive superlative here] in their game dev journeys. Tough times make strong people... (Conclude bio here so as to leave off on a motivational note) 

... But strong people make soft times, and so forth, so it's all for nothing anyway.
