1.14 million abortions in 2024 each one representing an innocent life lost. Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, over this many lives have been taken in the United States.

In the Commonwealth of Kentucky alone, at least 300,000 lives have been ended. Although abortion became illegal in Kentucky in 2022, our work is far from over. We continue to stand for life, fighting to end abortion across neighboring states, advocating for the protection of every precious child, and supporting mothers in need.

To put this in perspective, this staggering number equals the entire current population of Kentucky… plus the populations of 19 other states combined!

Our Vision

Ending Abortion

Abortion is the greatest human rights violation our world has ever known. Although abortion became illegal in Kentucky in 2022, our work is far from over. We continue to stand for life and fight to end abortion across our surrounding states, advocating for the protection of every precious child and supporting mothers in need.

Stopping Euthanasia & Assisted Suicide

Euthanasia is an act, or the intentional omission of an act, that directly causes the death of a person, often someone who is medically vulnerable. Assisted suicide, similarly, involves intentionally providing a person with the means or information to end their own life, typically during times of illness, disability, or emotional distress. Both practices undermine the inherent dignity of every human life and place our most vulnerable—especially the sick, elderly, and disabled—at grave risk.

Promoting Life

At Right to Life of Louisville, we work to build a culture where every human life is valued, protected, and celebrated — from conception to natural death. Promoting a Culture of Life means advocating for the unborn, supporting mothers and families, defending the medically vulnerable and elderly, and fostering a society where dignity and compassion guide our actions. Through education, outreach, and compassionate support, we seek to inspire hearts, change minds, and create a community in which every person is recognized as a precious gift deserving of love and protection.

We are 100% funded by donations. Your contribution allows us to educate the community about the development of the human person and the tragedy of abortion. Those funds also allow us to be your advocate for pro-life policies and legislation that foster a culture of life in our community.
