Требуется гибрид сисадмина и девелопера (типа dev ops) с сильным знанием питона. Или программист с сильным знанием system administration.
Возможна удаленка или в штат в Лондоне (релокейшн и проездные не оплачиваются).
Знать и уметь:
* linux (debian ообразные), конфигурации nginx/apache, Mysql/postgres конфигурация, оптимизация и прочие развлечения асоциированные с деплойментом.
* Много читать и писать на питоне. (дополнительная Java или C++ идут в плюс, основными платформами ASP.NET и J2EE в минус)
* Amazon EC2 и open stack в качестве развлечений гарантированны
* Какой нибудь noSQL, но хорошо - Riak, CouchDB, Mongo, Voldemort

Job Description
Shopitize Ltd is building a very innovative and highly scalable infrastructure with the aim of revolutionizing shopping. And creating innovative tools and automation for the administration of our high-performance/high-availability infrastructure is crucial. In this role, you will have the unique to both contribute to it's design and to lead the implementation.
As a Software Engineer Shopitize, you will report to the Head of Architecture and Development and be responsible for implementing the design and deployment of our integrated cloud computing system. You will not only be contributing to building complex and intelligent systems, but also collaborating with a talented outsourced team who are working on parts of the system in parallel. Your play an integral role in both monitoring, driving key component and combining them together to ensure delivery of a high-performing solution.
You must be opinionated about your technology and constantly looking for ways to improve the systems and challenging the status qou. You quickly understand and probe product requirements to ensure the best quality product and proactively assume new responsibilities and autonomously drive them to make them a reality. Effective when working under pressure and delivering to high standards within tight deadlines.
You are an excellent Open Source Developer with Infrastructure / Sys Admin skills and a background in Python development. Ideally candidate will have a good background in general networking protocols (TCP, HTTP, SNMP, UDP), performance tuning of applications and / or databases (MySQL, PostgrSQL), and excellent communication skills. Experience of distributed computing environments, SaaS / Cloud or SOA would be a distinct advantage. In this role you will:
become proficient in understanding how each software component, system design, and configuration is linked together to form an end-to-end solution;
align engineering development requirements with the capabilities of the site infrastructure;
participate in the design, implementation and ongoing management that deliver against strict requirements for functionality, scalability, performance and reliability;.
drive requirements for automation/tooling needs as well as other cross-functional business priorities including helping define, develop and maintain monitoring tools and automation systems within the team;
rapidly assess, analyze and resolve complicated issues with little initial information or direction and with varying degrees of ambiguity;
ensure all nodes are properly configured and in perfect running state.
ensure all systems can grow smoothly while maintaining high availability.
help develop a comprehensive infrastructure policy;
review and update infrastructure to support new product requirements;
implement automated infrastructure testing
Desired Skills & Experience
* Linix (Debian/Ubuntu), Chef, Amazon Web Services/Rackspace, Nginx, DNS
* Minimum of 2 years administering Linux systems in a production environment.
* Django, Python
* Redis, CouchDB or Riak would be bonus
* BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
