Clean Clean Clean

Bladen's most favorite thing to do, which he would be happy doing all day every day is CLEAN!

I really hope this obsession lasts forever!

Whether its the vacuum, duster, broom, wipes... It doesn't matter the form of cleaning, he wants to do it.

In fact, I can not let him go out the garage door without a fight, because that is where our vacuum and broom is stored. And if he sees either and I don't let him have them, it is tantrum century!

 Whenever I am vacuuming the house, it is a constant battle for control... It takes 3times as long to actually do it cuz I have to share. But once I am all done, this is what Bladen gets to do for awhile.

We rip up a paper towel, and he goes to town!

We sure love our Janitor! I just wish he didn't make so many messes that I have to clean up...

Shoe Fetish

Bladen got these cute new shoes and he is obsessed with them! First thing he does in the morning is hunt them down and make me put them on him, he even wants them on up until the last second before he goes to bed. He would probably sleep in them if I let him. Once he is bathed and ready for bed, they go right back on until he actually crawls into bed. Its quite funny, but I guess they are at least cute shoes that he is obsessed with, it could be worse!

Nap Time Monster

Oh Man! What am I going to do with this kid of mine... This is what Bladen's room looks like after about 75% of his naps. If he cant fall asleep or after he wakes up, this is the new cool thing to do.

He will throw everything out of his crib, and rip the sheets off.

Is there a child whisperer? Cuz I really need one...

Tool Man

We love to shop the deals of Woot! And a week or so ago we found these super cute power tools! Bladen loves them and plays with them all the time!

Aren't the goggles too cute! He giggled when they were on, but he wouldn't keep the on for longer than a second.

And this is the reason its a good idea to wear safety goggles!

Cupcake Thief

I made cupcakes the other day just for the fun of it, and while we were waiting to deliver some of them, I had them sitting on the edge of the counter. I obviously underestimate Bladen's reach and huge desire for sugar, cuz when I came back in the kitchen he had one plopped frosting down on the floor. When i approached the situation, he grabbed it with his full fist by the bottom and took off on a dead sprint! He wasn't about to let me take it away. After a giggly lap around the counter and another plop on the floor of the whole top. I decide it wasn't worth the fight and chase and I just let him eat the whole thing, not off the floor of coarse...

But he enjoyed every last bite of it!

Beach Day

While in San Diego we also spent a day at the beach, at least part of the day.... It got super windy and we were all pretty miserable after too long, so we bailed!

Bladen sure loved it though, I thought he would be scared of the water and waves, but he loved it! I think he is part Fish, just like his dad! He had so much fun.

As you can see, he sure enjoyed the sand too! It was everywhere, and THICK. I guess sunscreen is kinda like glue when it comes to sand... He didn't mind though, he was having fun and that was all that mattered!

Sea World

At the end of April we were able to have a little get away to San Diego for the weekend, my friend Jenn had a wedding to go to and we were lucky enough to tag along for the ride. We had a lot of fun and cant wait to take another fun adventure like this.

Although the drive was extra long and we all dreaded making it with a little monster in tote, it actually surprised us all how well he did.

We had a fun day at Sea World, it was a busy day. And Bladen tried to stay awake and enjoy as much of it as he could. (I love his little curly q's over his ears in this picture)

Bladen loved the cool stroller we rented there, he thought it was pretty awesome!

Us with Jenn at the animal show, it was super cute. And so amazing that they can train those animals to do all the things they do.

The big scary shark tank, I wish it wasn't so dark so you could actually see all of them swimming behind them.

Waiting for the Dolphin show to start, it really was amazing how many people were there. And Ryan was the master action photographer during the show and got some cool shots!

This is the Sea Lion show, it was my favorite part! I laughed my head off the whole time!

We get to go back to San Diego at the end of this year with my family and we cant wait! I hope Bladen will enjoy it a little more when it rolls around again.
