Individuals with IDD experience significant health disparities, barriers to care, and gaps in coordinated services. This Action Lab brings together healthcare professionals and community partners to strengthen clinical practice, systems navigation, and advocacy for individuals with IDD across the lifespan.

SACRD training sessions are interactive demonstrations of all SACRD.org features, allowing you to maximize the platform's benefits for yourself and those you assist. 

Each session will cover:

  • Setting the location and proximity searching
  • Finding resources like food and shelter, utility assistance, transportation, child care, medical and dental care, etc, by using search keywords or by browsing through the categories
  • What kind of information can you expect in a SACRD listing
  • Looking up specific organizations or programs
  • Searching for and reading listings in Spanish
  • Sharing SACRD listings with others by text, email, print, or QR
  • Using The Mental Health Portal
  • Using the Housing Services Portal
  • Suggesting edits to SACRD listings
  • Recommending new programs for SACRD
  • SACRD PRO
  • Order SACRD pocket cards
  • Save time and use SACRD as your resource guide
  • Join SACRD face-to-face events
  • Help us make SACRD better 

Sessions are usually held on the last Thursday of each month, with exceptions for holidays. Please register.

The SACRD Portal to Mental Healthcare Services lists 1000's of programs that provide mental health services throughout Bexar County.

By answering a few questions, a user can narrow down programs with specialties and attributes matching their specific needs.  Additional filters allow users to look for programs based on language, clients' age range, payment arrangements, etc.

Traumatic Brain Injury System of Support (TBI SOS 4 Kids) is a digital hub-and-spoke model to boost TBI awareness and support among school staff and communities.

Objectives:

  • Train school staff to identify and assist students who have sustained a brain injury
  • Enhance community brain injury knowledge, support families in caring for and advocating for their child
  • Link schools, families, and communities to brain injury resources via a digital platform
