Podcast Director

I have 9+ years of experience using Digital Audio Workspaces for Sound Design and Audio Editing, most notably Ableton Live, Pro Tools, and Adobe Audition. I have used this expertise effectively in journalistic podcasting.
From Oct. 2022 through Feb. 2025, I produced and hosted “SLO-Fi”, an award-winning podcast and leading documentarian of California’s Central Coast music scene, presented by KCPR 91.3 FM in San Luis Obispo, CA.
In June 2023, I was promoted to manage and oversee all seven of KCPR’s podcasts as the “Podcast Director”. In this role, I developed distribution plans, coordinated audio/video production, and facilitated show meetings with my producers to lead one of the most prolific podcasting departments in American college media.

I just feel touched. It was really beautiful talking with them and I even shed myself a real life human tear a little over 29 minutes in. So take a listen and I hope it brings you some joy.

You guys’ analysis of the songs were so perfect! You hit everything so much more spot on than we ever could have if we tried to think about it ourselves.

I was obsessed with the “NPR Tiny Desk” concerts when I was in high school. But unlike my friends, who obsessed over Anderson Paak’s rendition of “Heart Don’t Stand a Chance” or the unique orchestral sound Mac Miller brought to his setlist, I was focused on the production that occured behind the scenes.
In that room, how could it possibly sound this good?
During the 2023-2024 academic year, I have audio engineered as well as mixed/mastered “Burnt Dog Studios”. This has given me a space to incorporate my C.A in Audio Technology from Cuesta College into engaging multimedia content.

As a DJ for KCPR 91.3 FM — an alternative music radio station — my goal is to introduce new sounds and perspectives on music to California’s Central Coast.
You will hear a splattering of Hip Hop, Folk, and indie pop music on my show.

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Journalism with a concentration in Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Fall 2024 Quarter.

I will complete my two-year certification in Audio Technology, which focuses on studio and digital operation as a musical recording engineer, in the Spring 2025 Semester.
