Hi.

So I am lazy ok. Also I spent the first 7months of 2011 living with my mother-in-law. Which let me say nothing against her, I love her and feel blessed everyday that I have such an easy going and loving mil, but nontheless living in cramped quarters with your hubby and two children is not an easy adjustment. Atleast it wasn't for me. I felt like I just had to survive the transition from us owning a home into becoming renters. Blah.
Anyways being that it is now mid-Sept we are living in our own home again, YIPPEE, and loving every minute of it. Space, independence, and just our own family time are so much more appreciated now. We are back in Henderson, which if we are stuck in this area its the place we want to be.
Shane is still working and breaking his back for Las Vegas Paving and everyday he goes to work I admire him and appreciate him. I know I wouldnt last 5mins doing what he does. Yeah, I love him bunches!!!! As for me, aka mommy, I get the exhausting yet totally amazing job of taking care of our two growing kids. Also about a year ago now, the opportunity to teach preschool came about for me and I have been enjoying it ever since. I get to teach like I have always wanted to and also take my kids along with me. Loving it.
Makenze will be 5, crazy I know, come January and I am pretty sure she is already a teenager. She has an attitude that never ends and some days that girl knows how to push her mom and dad to their limits. But I think the reason is that Makenze is so smart, so independent, and so energetic that she just has to be destined for great things. She takes preschool classes and I know she just waits for the day she can go to big kid school. We are looking forward to the spring when we can sign her up for soccer or something to get her energy out. HAHA. We love our sassy girl!
Eastenn is just growing and becoming such a little man. He turned two in July and keeps us busy. He climbs everything, doesn't really care to help us with the whole potty training thing, and if he had his was he would eat treats (candy, junk) all day long.
So thats a little update on us. We have been busy as always this past year. With birthdays, holidays, a vacation, and just family time.
Here are some pix to show our 2011 journey thus far. Enjoy.

Its a WRAP....2010!

Life just goes so fast sometimes I cant find the time to soak it all in! Since last posting many things have happened and big changes have come our way. So we have had to totally trust in our Heavenly Fathers plan and not our own.
October was full of Halloween and Trick or Treat outings! I have never wanted a holiday to be over more then this past halloween. For like 3 weeks we were dressing up and going here, there and everywhere! Whew! We made it! A week before actual halloween I had one of my most scary moments as a mom. I have been blessed thus far with having no serious illnesses or injuries. Well it started as a nice day at the park and after being there 5 mins Eastenn fell down on crumbled concrete. I heard the smack of my babys head. Oh my! So he ended up with a pretty decent size gash and after a trip to urgent care my little guy had 3 stitches in his head. I think it was harder on Makenze and I then it was him. He just hated being held down while they stitched him up. Broke my heart. I am proud to say I kept it together until the drive home and my brave boy was sleeping in the back seat.

With November brought Shane & I's 5th year anniversary! Yahoo!!! It has definitely been a busy past five years but they have been the best of my life. I am so happy and blessed to be married to Shane. He is such a loving and kind husband and the most awesome daddy ever! I won the lottery the day I married him! We celebrated with a nice dinner, blue man group show, and also a night away from home. It was a wonderful date forsure! I also replaced his wedding ring, which he had lost some time ago. Also Novemeber brought my Moms and my Grandpa Chavezs' birthdays! Family dinner and cake are always nice to celebrate the ones we love. Then right before Thanksgiving I got to have a nice visit with my longtime friend April and her 3 adorable kids. It was the first time meeting her little girl Allison or Allie as they call her and it was great meeting her. I cant believe how her older two children have grown. All the kids were shy at first but after warming up Makenze had fun playing with the big kids. Thanks for the visit April! Wish it could happen more often. And then of course we had some yummy turkey for Thanksgiving and time with both sides of our family!

Now that we are half way through December we have already celebrated my 27th birthday! Crazy huh? I am feeling old lately! I am getting sooo very close to the big 30!!! Ahhhhh scary. HAHA! Anyways I had a nice birthday and my hubby surprised me with flowers! I had to share them with Makenze but thats ok. We also attended the Las Vegas Paving holiday party, sadly we didnt win a prize this year but we had lots of laughs, ate some yummy food, and danced! It was a great time!
Along with our Christmas festivities we have been trying to get our christmas gift shopping done as we have a major change coming up.
WE ARE MOVING! This coming Saturday, yes the week before Christmas, we are moving from Henderson to Shane's mom home in North Las Vegas! Not really what we ever thought would be in our life's journey but we are trying to embrass this next chapter in our lives with optimism. So mom's home will be ours for probably the next year as to give us a chance to save money and put ourselves in a better position all around.
So all in all 2010 has been busy, fun, exciting, and stressful but we wouldnt change a thing about it! We have our health and two of the best kiddos around!

Merry Christmas to all of our friends & family!

We wish you all a Happy & Blessed New Year!

A view of our September!

Being that is it already October (just crazy to me) I put together some cute pix of our September happenings! We of course enjoyed our days at the park! When it was not still so hot hot hot outside! Had great play times over at Grandma & Grandpa Giffords. Remembered a wonderful man, Shane's dad Damian Wagasky. We have taken a trip up to his grave the past 3 years that he has been gone. Always great to remind ourselves and the kids what a great guy he was! We also got to visit with Shane's oldest sis Shelly and also his brother Damian and his two beautiful girls. I actually stole my nieces away from Mom Wagasky for the day just so I could chat and giggle with them! We even took went to the Rainforest Cafe for a family dinner. Sadly Shane was working and missed this fun time but thats the great guy I am married to. He does all that he can to provide for us. Ok I could go on and on about him. Shane did have to a colonoscopy (how lucky is he?) and I am happy to report the results were all positive! He is a healthy man. I inserted this pic from that day...he didn't want it taken but I think he looks soooo sexy in his surgery cap! HAHA! Sorry babe. Anyways...September was busy, eventful to say the least but we are happy and healthy and doing just fine!

Birthdays are always fun...

I love birthdays because its a great excuse to do extra special things for the special people in our lives! So in September our nephew, Carter John turned 4! We had a fun outing to the M&M store on the LV strip and also stopped by the Lion habitat at the MGM. The kids loved it all! M&M's are delicious and we had a great time celebrating this darling little boy in our lives!
Cute pix following...watch out!

Summer has come and gone!

Happily its starting to cool down! Yay! But again I have been slacking on this poor little blog of ours. So here goes nothing... Labor Day weekend, for me, finishes up the summer. We made our second Labor day weekend camping trip up to Pioche, NV. I have the best intentions of just rolling with the unpredictability of being away from home and out of our normal routine, but camping never fails to stress me out (LOL) and make me hate dirt that much more. But none the less I will be doing it again. Im sure many more times just simply to make sweet family memories. So here are our pix from that weekend adventure!

Oh my goodness...Happy Birthday Eastenn!

Incase everyone who enjoys our blog cant't tell, I love our little boy! We said Happy Happy Birthday to him on July 7th!!!! His precious first year just zoomed by. His sweet and happy spirit brings more joy to our home then I can even put into words. He makes the cutest darn faces and his giggle is just incredible!!! We had our own little celebration with Eastenn on his birthday and then brought the family together the following Saturday and partied at the water park. He loves the water and with it being so hot here I figured lets have his party at the park. It turned out great and I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't get grumpy as the party went into his naptime. Not really surprised as he really is an easy going lil guy but it made me happy needless to say. He enjoyed his cupcakes and then opened each present that his awesome family gave him (thank you!thank you!)and his expression when he saw each one was priceless.

Here is some info about our boy....
*Pushes his little trucks around everywhere as he walks. Wont walk on his own yet put goes all over the house. In no time he will be running I'm sure of it.
*He is a CLIMBER!!! AAAAWWWWW! This makes Mommy and Daddy go crazy but its great to see him be so happy. Just to put this out there...one night at about 2:30am he somehow got his little self out of his crib and over to his bedroom door and began banging on it until mommy came to his rescue. Oh my heck.....I was not ready for this. Makenze never got out of her crib...never ever! Such a boy!
*Loves to play and giggle with his sister! Whenever we say her name "Makenze" he gets all big-eyed and excited to see his sissy.
*Suppose to be a Mommys boy but truely loves his daddy to pieces!
*Can melt anyones heart just by looking at them.....

Independence Day

I felt especially patriotic this year. Just really grateful to live in this country and have all the many freedoms that we do. We had a great time as a family and celebrated with yummy food and a family gathering at my parents house this year. Its been working out nicely as every year we are taking turns hosting the 4th. The Wagasky boys (Shane & his brothers...but mostly Shane!) love to set off fireworks so they always put on a great show. Here are some pix...
