I had so much fun with this last year that I decided to try again!

I need you guys to give me fic prompts for wishlist_fic, which is a multi-fandom Christmas fanfiction fest. I need 12 prompts total, and I'll accept the first 12 I'm given. All I need from you are characters or a pairing, a fandom, and some sort of prompt. You can be as vague or specific as you like. Give me a scenario, a quote, a lyric, an image - whatever you like! To help you out, below the cut is a list of some of my fandoms with my character/pairing preferences.

And don't feel completely restrained by the characters/pairings I listed here. They're what I'm best at, but depending on your request, I might be able to give it a shot.

Please note that the highest I can go in ratings is PG-13ish. I can't do violence or blood/gore, and (unfortunately) I have yet to master the art of smut. All fics will be at least 500 words.

It's that time of year again! If you'd like a holiday card, please comment with your name, address, and if you have a card preference. (I currently have Christmas and general holiday/winter, but if you celebrate something else specifically, let me know and I'll see what I can do!) I'm willing to send anywhere in the world, but please write your address exactly the way it should appear on the envelope so that I know it will reach you. Likewise, feel free to use an alias if you'd prefer I not know your real name, but some sort of "first" and "last" name seems to be needed. (I tried sending a card with just someone's username and it was returned XD) If you'd rather have an e-card, I just need an email address!

Please comment even if I've sent you a card in the past, simply because it's easier to ensure my addresses are up to date. All comments are screened!

The moonlight carries the message of love!

I'm trying to find information on お見合い (omiai) customs, specifically with how they relate to more modern Japan...well, around the 1960s or early 1970s to be precise. I'm particularly interested in how much freedom the couple generally has during the "getting to know you" process. I know that during the first meeting, both sets of parents are present, though the couple can spend some alone time. And after that, they're allowed to go on several dates. Does the couple always need to be supervised, either by the parents or the nakōdo, or can they actually be alone? And any idea on forms of address? Is it your general -san honorific, or does the woman need to be more formal? Finally, is the woman (or her side of the family) allowed to initiate the omiai and/or eventually refuse the marriage, or must everything come from the male side? I would assume it originally had to be the male, but in modern times, maybe the woman has more of an opinion? And would this change if the male side was slightly higher in social and economic standing?

I need to get a life, seriously XDDD

That's right, folks, it's only taken me... *counts on fingers* ...almost eight months to get these posted, but here they are! I know some of you have seen the originals, but I always intended to get at least some online so everyone could see. Just take note that these are from the professional photographer, not the table cameras at the reception, so most of these are formal. I don't have the others on CD, and (as some of you may have noted in previous psots) I haven't been able to have a working scanner for quite some time, so these are the ones you get. They're really the best, anyway. So yeah, do enjoy, and please point people in the direction of the gallery, if you know anyone who doesn't have the link to my journal!
