Forssa Old Toy Fair and IKEA dollhouse

Hello! It's been a while. I'm mostly active in Google+ and Facebook nowadays. But here a look into my IKEA house, which will be a set of roomboxes actually. These are some views of the upstairs kitchen.

My bigger girls got some clothes and jewelry from the Forssa Old Toy fair.

I also got myself some 1:12 treasures! Love them.

Vanhojen kirjojen inspiroimaa - Inspired by Old Books

Osallistuin viime vuoden lopulla nukkiskurssille, jossa teimme vanhoista kirjoista roomboxin. Koska kyseessä oli kirjoihin liittyvä roombox, valitsin aiheekseni Jane Austenin kirjoittamassa huoneessaan menestysromaanejaan. Tarun nukke sopi Janen rooliin. - At the end of last year I attended a weekend course, where we made roomboxes from old books. Because the material was old books, I made a room for Jane Austen. She's writing her next novel sitting by her table.

She has her beloved piano forte in her room.

Inkbottle and quill are necessary. There is also a led lamp on the table, but let's pretend there's a candle inside. The box is rather dark, so I had to add some source of light in it.

Tein myös toisen miniatyyri jutun kirjasta. Siitä tuli onnittelukortti puutarhaihmiselle. Lintujen syöttöastiaan idean sain Susanna Tunturi-Anttilan tekemistä ihastuttavista astioista. - I also made a birthday card from a beautiful old book. This is a card for someone who loves gardening.

Paperillan blogissa inspiroiduttiin Pinterestin ohjeista. Itse valitsin lintuhäkin ohjeen.  - Paperilla blog was inspired by Pinterest craft ideas. I chose a bird cage to decorate my window.

Primrose ja Flora saivat kevään kunniaksi pupun lemmikiksi. - Primrose and Flora got a pet bunny.

Primrose on lintujen ystävä! - Primrose is a friend of birds!

Primrose sai myös uusia tavaroita. - She also got some new things for her home.

Ommellen koristeltua ja uusi nukke - Some Crafting and a New Doll

Tammikuu meni toipuessa, nyt jaksaa jo ministellä ja askarrella. Paperillan haasteessa koristeltiin ompelemalla. Tein kirjanmerkkejä, niille on aina käyttöä ja niitä voi lähettää pieninä lahjoina kirjeissä. Katso muiden Ommellen -inspiraatiot täältä. - I spent January recovering from major operations, but now I have the energy to craft and make miniatures! Meille muutti myös uusi nukke, Puki Puki nivelnukke, joka sai nimekseen Primrose. Hän sai myös
pienen mökin. Mökki on maalattu ja tapetoitu, nyt alkaa hauskin osuus! Tässä kuvassa Primrose on kylässä Floran huoneessa. - A new doll moved in, Puki Puki BJD-doll. I gave her the name Primrose. She got a tiny cottage, which I have painted and decorated the walls and floor. Now starts the fun part, putting all the furniture and mini things in their places! Here she is visiting her friend Flora.

Pikku Flora sai huoneeseensa uuden maton ja samanlaisen saivat Onneli ja Anneli. Kokeilin kuvansiirtoa paperilta kankaalle. - Tiny Flora and the little girls in Rose cottage got  new carpets. I transferred a Tilda picture from paper onto cloth.

Surprise Mail!

A couple of weeks ago I was one of the lucky winners in Plushpussycat's giveaway. The present was Jennifer's cute, whimsical greeting cards. Oh I was so happy, because I have always admired her sweet dioramas. Well, the package came just before Christmas and...what did I find in it! Not just a set of the darling cards, but all kinds of cute stuff for my Blythe/Jecci Five/Pullip/Byul dolls (I had to name them all, otherwise they'd get cross with me...). Have a look below. Thank you, sweet Jennifer, you really cheered up my day!

I had to let Lily show you what they got, it was kind of her turn. The T-shirt she's wearing was in the parcel as well.

Tapaninpäivä riemua! - Boxing Day Fun!

Toivottavasti joulunne on ollut tähän asti kaikkea, mitä olette toivoneet! - Hope you all are having a marvelous Christmas time!

Flora sai monta lahjaa uuteen kotiinsa. - Flora got many presents to her new home!

Puputalo sai joulukuusen ja herkullisia jouluruokia. - Bunny house got a Christmas tree, winter apples and lots of delicious food.

Onneli ja Anneli koristelivat keittiön joulutähdellä. - The two little girls in Rose Alley got a poinsettia and they decorated their kitchen with it.

Tein pienen modernin boxin, vaihteeksi jotain muuta väriä kuin pastelleja! - I made a small modern box for a change and added some items from talented miniature makers with those made by me.

Viola toivottaa erittäin hauskaa joulun jatkoa ja loistavaa tulevaa uutta vuotta! - Viola wishes you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the coming year of 2016!

Joulupaketteja ja nukkisjoulua - Christmas presents and miniatures

Paperillan tämän viikon tehtävässä suunniteltiin lahjapaketteja. Tein omani sipsipurkin puolikkaasta ja WC-paperin rullasta. Kurkkaa muidenkin ryhmäläisten ideoita täältä. - Paperilla blog team was in the mood for Christmas packaging. My suggestions were made of chips container and WC paper roll. Olen tehnyt jouluisia nukkiskoristeita, joista kuvia on ollut jo Facebook sivullani. - I have been busy crafting miniature Christmas decorations, such fun!

 Kerrosvadin ostin Turun nukkismarkkinoilta. - I found the cake tier on a mini fair a couple of weeks ago, other items made by me.
