We made it to May! This month found the Smith Family traveling from California all the way to Houston Texas! This was so we could be with Stephen at his rotation there. This hospital put us up in an extended stay hotel room so we got to stay as a family (in VERY tight quarters) but at least we were together! Annie got to have TWO Birthday parties which was fitting because she turned two! The family in Fresno wanted to celebrate with her before we left and then we celebrated as a family on her actual special day! Annie is such a JOY. She fills our days with laughter and kisses. She is a feisty strong willed little girl with lots of personality and love! We love our Annie and we couldn't imagine our life without her in it! She is talking like crazy and running jumping climbing and getting into everything. She has beautiful curly hair that everyone adores. WE LOVE YOU ANNIE MICHELLE!

Easter/ April 2012

Well April brought us to Utah! We got to spend some time with Amy Dee and her wonderful hubby Landon. We got to see all of the Utah families and Stephen too! Stephen was in Utah for another rotation so the girls and I went and spent a few weeks there including Easter! Thank you Landon and Amy for housing us you guys are awesome! Easter was fun we looked for eggs and did the normal stuff. The best memory I have of this past Easter was Re-hiding the Easter eggs over and over (just like my easter bunny would do) and surprising the girls. Both girls really got into finding the eggs and it was so fun to watch them!

Playing catch up to a blog is no fun! We have had such a crazy year that I can't be too upset with myself for not keeping up with the blog but I am trying to get back into it now. in February I had a birthday, we moved out of our Tampa Apartment,and My mom and I drove from Tampa to Fresno stopping along the way to visit family and my friend Caitie. The girls and I then stayed in Fresno through the month of March while Stephen worked hard in Alabama. It was hard for us to be apart but I was so thankful to have my parents and family with me while I couldn't have Steve. So in the above slideshow we have random pictures from those two months. Tomorrow we will have April! One day I will catch up!

January 2012

Well January was kind of a crazy month because Stephen was super busy with his rotation. They had him working like 60 to 70 hours a week so we didn't get to see him much. Also January was the month that I ran my first HALF MARATHON! sadly we didn't get any pictures of it because we left the camera at home...oops but it was awesome. I can honestly say that running 13 miles was one of the hardest and yet best things I've ever done. I really want to run another one. Other than that I don't remember much else about January.

I know super late. We have been busy and life has been crazy this year so thanks to smilebox I will be catching up soon. I hope someone out there is still looking at our blog!

Katie's first dance recital December 2011

We started Katie in a gymnastics and dance/tap class the last few months. She LOVES them especially the gymnastics class she has so much jumping around and doing "cartwheels". For Christmas her dance/tap class did a performance that was simply adorable! They did the "Penguin cha-cha" it is the cutest little dance. Katie was the star of the show (well at least to Stephen, Annie and I) and it was a first for Katie that we will never forget. I love how now that she is older she can participate in these different experiences. We are so lucky!

Christmas beginnings 2011

Aww Finally I am blogging about Christmas even though it is the END of January! I will have to change my posting date to put it back into 2011. This is just a bunch of random pictures showing the start of our Christmas celebrations. There are a lot of pictures so enjoy! :)

The first Santa of the season.  This was at the ward Christmas party. Katie informed all of the other children that this could not possibly be the REAL Santa...She is too smart for her own good!

Part of the Christmas party was the primary and nursery children singing Christmas songs while dressing up as different parts of the Nativity.  Annie is a sheep if you couldn't tell! :)

Christmas in Disney World 2011!

Disney World at Christmas is very magical! The decorations are awesome but the crowds are a little much! We went this day and mainly just took pictures of decorations and different things, we hardly went on any rides but the girls still had a good day!

I know the picture is blurry but I had to post this.  We really wanted a picture at night with all of the Christmas lights and decorations but both girls were OUT! Oh well we took it anyway! People were laughing hysterically while they took this for us.

Camping Trip/Thanksgiving 2011

For Thanksgiving the Smith family went camping! We went with some good friends from the ward Kim and Brett who also brought along their two little dogs named Scud and Scruffy. Also in our party were two men from Italy.  The Italians (as we lovingly referred to them) are living with our friends while they are here in the states working on their masters programs.  We had a blast! The girls LOVED being outside all of the time and having lots of people and especially dogs to play with.   We went fishing, played games, went on little hikes, went to a parade, and for Thanksgiving dinner we went to a little country restaurant for the traditional meal.  We went for three nights and four days and it was a great trip although, I must say camping takes a lot of energy to pack and unpack all the stuff you need. :) After the camping trip both girls missed those little dogs so much...I guess dogs are in our future! Happy Turkey Day 2011!
