The Students@SC program offers opportunities regardless of your education level.
Take a deep dive into the mechanics of the SC conference by volunteering, or put your skills to the test by participating in one of the competitions offered.
Regardless of whether you choose to volunteer or compete, there are plenty of opportunities and activities for students attending the conference including workshops, technical sessions, and speed mentoring. See below!

Lead Student VolunteersIf you’re a former SC student volunteer, elevate your SC experience by applying to become a lead.

Student Cluster CompetitionTeams of undergraduate students put their skills to the test building, operating, and tuning powerful cluster computers.

Mentor–Protégé MatchingSupporting the growth of a vibrant HPC community by connecting students with experienced mentors.
Students@SC participants are invited to take part in these activities during the conference. All are excellent opportunities to focus your career path and understand more about high performance computing.
Student ToursLocal groups visit SC, where they can attend talks on HPC and take a guided tour of the Exhibits.
Job FairDiscover and meet with potential employers face-to-face. Open to all student conference attendees.

Scavenger HuntStudents decipher clues to identify exhibitors and learn about their technology for a chance to win prizes.
The SC Program features three components geared specifically toward students and young professionals.
ACM Student Research CompetitionShowcasing original research from students, with winners selected based on poster content and presentation quality.
Doctoral ShowcaseAn opportunity for Ph.D. students to present their dissertation research via short talks and poster presentations.
