Learn MoreWe booked a Bunyal Tour + Unlimited Day Pass. Brilliant value for money. Warren Mundine was our tour guide, he is super knowledgeable, great listen to, very engaging. He brought in his own totem to show and teach us a little about Indigenous culture here in Australia. We learnt so much, it was absolutely fascinating. The views are absolutely stunning, you just can't stop staring. The amount of different plant life within the area is insane. The majority of scenic world is wheelchair accessible, just prepared to sleep that night i, itll be a work out for sure. 10/10 just awesome!
Huge Shoutout to the Scenic World Blue Mountains Team! We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Scenic World to celebrate our kids’ birthdays, and what an incredible day it turned out to be. The experience was made extra special by the amazing staff who went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. Right from the moment we arrived, the team at the front counter made us feel welcome. As soon as they found out it was the boys’ birthdays, they handed out birthday badges with big smiles. That thoughtful little gesture instantly made the kids feel seen and celebrated. It was such a great start to the day. Then came Rosy. She was so sweet and kind, and truly went out of her way to make sure the boys felt like the most important people there. She surprised them with adorable little koala plush toys from the gift shop, made sure they got to sit right at the front of the ride, and was just full of warmth and care throughout. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it showed in every interaction. What a star. And then there was Xavier. While we were waiting in the queue for a ride, he found out it was the kids’ birthdays and instantly lit up. With so much energy and joy, he got the entire crowd to sing Happy Birthday for the boys. It was such a beautiful and fun moment, and it made us feel truly celebrated. The kids were absolutely glowing, and so were we. What a legend. Rosy and Xavier, you are the heart and soul of Scenic World. It is people like you who turn a regular outing into something unforgettable. Your kindness, energy, and attention to detail made all the difference. To the whole Scenic World team, thank you for making our birthday celebration so joyful and full of magic. We cannot wait to visit again and we will be telling everyone about the amazing people who made it all happen.
I recently visited Scenic World in the Blue Mountains, and it was such a fun and memorable experience! The highlight for me was definitely the Scenic Railway. I was really excited about it, and it did not disappoint. The steep ride down through the forest was both thrilling and beautiful, giving me a rush of adrenaline and amazing views at the same time. The entire place offers stunning scenery, peaceful walks through the rainforest, and incredible views of the Jamison Valley. It’s a perfect mix of adventure and nature. I highly recommend visiting Scenic World if you’re in the Blue Mountains, especially if you’re up for a ride on the world steepest railway.
It was a rainy day, but so much fun! The views were amazing with how the fog rolled in and out. We enjoyed all of the ride options, but the railway was definitely the favorite! The system in place to get people on and off the rides was flawless and went so smoothly- and the guides that chatted while re rode were friendly- and funny! The lower rainforest was gorgeous and we were so impressed with how well kept the boardwalk was! (we appreciated the skid safe additions to help keep people from slipping!) There was so much to see and read while doing the trek! My only recommendations are for the gift shop- they need long sleeve tshirts as a lighter option to the sweatshirt and they need to get more pins besides just the skycar. We looked for something that said blue mountains or had the 3 sisters and were bummed to find neither. Needless to say we didn't buy anything- but definitely would have.
My kids loved Scenic World. We got there on opening at 0900, parked in the free carpark, and beat the crowds. We went on all rides with little to no wait, My kids' favourite ride was the scenic railway, which we rode multiple times. The views are amazing,it's well worth a day trip out there. We left around midday, and at that time, it was quite busy, so I do suggest getting there early, especially if you have an asd child who doesn't like crowds.
Scenic World is a must-visit for all ages! The team are friendly, helpful, and always ready to make your visit unforgettable. Service is consistently fantastic on every trip. Pure joy from start to finish! Recommend coming early to avoid crowds and it means you can get through everything with ease.
Scenic World is an absolute must-visit! The world’s steepest railway is such a thrilling and unforgettable ride – an experience like no other. The Skyway, Cableway, and Walkway all offer incredible views of the Blue Mountains, making the whole place feel truly magical. Everything is well-organised, family-friendly, and gives you the perfect mix of adventure and breathtaking scenery. For uni students, they even offer discounts on tickets – so make sure to carry your student ID card. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Blue Mountains!
Excellent tourist attraction with magnificent views. The railway and two cable cars give you the opportunity to see the spectacular Blue Mountains . All amazing experience . Parking is easy ( only suitable for cars under 2 metres ) Book tickets on line and aim to arrive at opening time . We had no wait and the staff were all friendly and helpful . Lots of great walks suitable to all fitness levels . We stayed in Cranebrook about an hour’s drive from Katoomba .A very scenic drive to get there and not as busy as Katoomba .
We had the best experience visiting Scenic World in the Blue Mountains. The views were breathtaking and the whole day felt truly special. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout, which made the experience even better. It was absolutely worth the money — a memorable day well spent, with moments we’ll cherish from our Sydney trip. Don’t miss out on this amazing experience if you’re visiting the Blue Mountains. Highly recommended!
Words can’t explained how beautiful views were. Three sisters, Katoomba falls and other scenic views. Dinosaur valley with Andy’s voice and beautiful rain forest to walk and explore. We bought day pass and did online booking in advance as we were going from Adelaide to blue mountains to have such an amazing experience. Booked our lunch as well online for a safer side. Food was good. Not bad. Must visit if you live in Australia. Amazing place to experience. Children had a blast at dinosaur valley, cable way, sky way and my favourite steepest railway in the world.
Scenic World in the Blue Mountains offers an unparalleled adventure blending history with breathtaking natural beauty. The highlight is undoubtedly the Scenic Railway, the world’s steepest passenger train, which plunges through a cliff-side tunnel into the lush Jamison Valley. Once below, the Scenic Walkway provides a tranquil 2.4-kilometer stroll through ancient Jurassic rainforest. For those seeking heights, the Scenic Skyway glides 270 meters above the canopy, featuring a glass floor for heart-racing views of Katoomba Falls and the Three Sisters. It’s an efficiently run, family-friendly experience that captures the majestic scale of Australia’s wilderness from every possible angle.
