We worked all day long and took out all of the inside walls and most of the brick walls. It was a long day.

Air Conditioner

A giant beam landed on the air conditioner.

House Update

We have had so many of our friends and family come and help. These photos are from the last 3 days. Friday and Saturday we removed all of the red and white tiles from the basement with a blow torch (that was the worst job I have ever ever done) and took the shed off the back of the house thanks to both of our dads help. Today Scott went out of town to California for 4 days, but our progress didn't stop thanks to his parents, Todd and Laurie, Spencer, our Annie and our nieces and nephew who all came to help. It was amazing. We got the back deck torn down and all the trusses on the north section of the roof removed. Sorry Scott no picture of that yet.

House Update

The first thing we did was open up the stairs, I guess they have been blocked for years. Then we gutted the basement. There are cement walls downstairs and there was cement lath and plaster on the walls. That was alot of work. Next we stipped all the sheet rock of the walls and ceiling upstairs. Thanks to all of our helpers. We couldn't do it alone.
