Screencapped.net Board
The Screencapped.net Board is our new portal for sharing our screencaps. Once you have an account, you will have access to over 17,000 zip downloads containing screencaps of old and new Movies and TV shows.
Registration
Registration is compulsory.
Registration is free. You are not required to donate or pay to register and access our screencaps.
Before registering, please check out the Username and E-mail Requirements.
Registration is required to keep our zips board safe from bots, to avoid DMCA related issues and to allow Staff to monitor downloads for spam prevention.
Important notes regarding registration:
- You may only register one account per IP Address. Any users attempting to circumvent this rule will have their accounts banned.
- You may not share your account with people who do not live at the same location as you / use the same IP address. Accounts being used at multiple IP addresses will be monitored and banned if found to be a shared account.
- All users must verify their account via e-mail after registering. Any accounts not verified via e-mail after 12 hours will be deleted.
- All new registrations must be approved by an Administrator. This can take 1-12 hours, so please be patient.
- Accounts inactive (not logged in to) for longer than 6 months will be deleted.
- If you are experiencing issues with your account please DO NOT comment in our chatbox. All account related issues should be reported on our Contact page.
Please note: Once you have registered and your account has been activated, you will need to click the “Thank” button to view the zip download links.
Why do I need to press the thank button? Because it’s polite.
Navigating
You can access zips by navigating to the appropriate forum as visible on the Board home page. For assistance navigating the board please check out our Tutorials.
Requests
How do staff decide which requests they will work on next?
Staff choose which request to work on next based on:
- Which movie/TV show they have access to (If they own the BluRay, have an iTunes season pass, can source a download).
- If they are currently watching or plan to watch the movie/TV show. (In some cases, staff won’t cap a show if they plan to watch it in the future to prevent spoilers.)
- When the request was submitted.
Please note, all requests will be completed. However, we don’t provide ETA’s as the staff have a lot of screencaps on their schedules already and this is on top of real life commitments (jobs/uni/family). We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Donating
Screencapped.net accepts donations to assist with our server and file hosting costs. All donations go directly towards the costs of running our site. Donating is optional and is not required to access any of our screencaps. We greatly appreciate every donation, no matter how big or small.
- If you have donated to Screencapped.net to assist with our monthly server costs you are eligible to be added to the Donators Group.
- All zip links are unlocked for Donators for the specified time, clicking the thanks button on each individual thread is not required.
- It takes a minimum of 24 hours for your donation to be processed, your patience is appreciated.
- If your donation is not processed within 2 days please feel free to contact an Admin.
Amounts / Length of access to Donators Group
- $5-10 USD = 1 Month
- $15 USD = 2 Months
- $20 USD = 3 Months
- $30 USD = 6 Months
- $50 USD = 12 Months

What is Screencapped.net?
Screencapped.net is a high quality image archive, providing logofree screencaps of various TV shows and Movies since 2012.
What happened to your galleries?
Hosting galleries was extremely expensive and we were looking to reduce costs. Our galleries officially closed 24 November 2018. We still offer zip downloads and currently have over 17,000 available on our Zips Board.
What can we do with the screencaps and images?
Many members of the community use the screencaps for graphics, icons and various other edits. You are welcome to use the screencaps for anything you like, the only limit is your imagination!
Can I upload your screencaps to my gallery?
You are welcome to upload our screencaps to your Actor/Actress fansite. You must provide credit and link back in your Album and in your WordPress (or equivalent) post. You may not upload an entire TV episode or Movie to your gallery.
Can I join Screencapped.net?
We are accepting applications, however, we are not actively looking/recruiting. If you are interested, you can submit your application here.
I have screencaps for [-], can I donate them / will you host them?
Yes, we are happy to offer your screencaps as zip downloads on our Board as long as they are high quality, sorted and logofree. Please contact us here to discuss further.
Will all episodes for [-] be completed?
Zips will be completed for all episodes in a TV Show and all Movies in a Movie series when the assigned Staff member has time.
Board FAQ
I’ve just registered and logged in but can’t access screencaps (it says I need to register to access)?
You need to wait for an Administrator to activate your account. This can take anywhere from 1 hour to 12 hours (depending on when someone is online). They will check your username is appropriate (no foul language, offensive words or spam usernames) and that your e-mail address is valid (no spam e-mails). You should receive an e-mail when your account is activated.
My account has been registered and activated, however, when I try to access [-] screencaps the links are broken.
Please submit a Broken Link form. Once received, we will process it as quickly as possible and fix the broken link/s. Do not submit more than one form for the same link. If the link isn’t fixed soon, it may mean we don’t have access to the screencaps and need to re-cap and re-upload. This will take some time and we appreciate your patience.
Can I request screencaps of [-]?
Yes, we do accept requests. They may be placed via our Request Form which can be found on the Board. Be sure to check the Schedule and the Movie & TV Request Lists PRIOR to submitting a request. Movies and TV Shows listed on the Schedule are already planned to be capped, therefore do not need to be requested. There is a maximum of 2 (two) active requests per person. You may place another request when one of your requests has been completed. Requests sent via social media or our chatbox will NOT be accepted.
When will screencaps that were available in the gallery be available as zips on the Screencaps Board?
All screencaps that were in our galleries have been made available on our Board in zip format.
Why was my account banned? How long will I be banned for?
Accounts are banned for several reasons including:
- Registering with a foul, offensive or spam username = (a) permanent ban
- Registering with a spam e-mail address = (a) permanent ban
- Breaking the rules when submitting Broken Link or Request forms = (a) given a warning (b) given a second warning (c) permanent ban
- Spamming the chatbox and/or other social media = (a) given a warning (b) 1 month ban (c) permanent ban
- Abusing or harrassing staff = (a) given a warning (b) permanent ban
In some cases a temporary ban is issued lasting 1 week / 1 month. Once this ban is lifted, you will regain access to our Board. If you repeat the offense you will receive a permanent ban.
