So, instead of doing my homework, I decided to eat some raspberry licorice, drink a Red Bull (don't ask me why I did this at midnight, it was there, I was tempted, I am weak!), and get down to some picspamming.
This is one of my favourite scenes, because it combines all the things that I like best about Josh and Donna. Banter! Josh being just a little (or maybe a lot) cocky and also charming! (Did I mention Bradley Whitford has sneaked his way into my heart? Because he totally has, you guys.) Donna being exasperated and yet totally charmed! Donna also making sure Josh knows what's what! Josh being concerned for Donna's well-being, because although he probably hasn't admitted it to himself yet, he's butt-crazy in love with her! Donna's ex-boyfriend being a douche! Lighthearted conversation that turns into declarations of ~deeper hidden feelings!~ True love and marriage and babies and running the country and being adorable and kickass! Well, not the marriage and babies part. Not at this point, anyway. But he's better than her old boyfriend, so that's a start. And I used a lot of exclamation points, so that's got to count for something, right?
Also also, I bet Josh totally had this memory in his head when he went running off to Germany, because I mean, getting all shouty and in everyone's face and pulling rank to see Donna after Gaza totally counts as not stopping for red lights.

( 'Yes, you are better than my old boyfriend.'Collapse )OMG I have to be up super early to buy Simon and Garfunkel tickets. DNW. The waking up early part, not the Simon and Garfunkel. I've managed to amass a group of my friends and my little sister to come with me, so I won't be the youngest person there. Victory!
edit: From Jon Favreau's twitter: 'Wrapped. Heading home. Robert was on fire. We're hitting our stride.'
I AM DYING RN UGH I NEED THIS MOVIE IN MY LIFE. IS IT MAY 2010 YET?
