Birthday Time

Okay, so like a month ago, I had my Birthday, but I wanted to post a few pictures even though I am so behind. The week before my Birthday Andrew got me a beautiful bouquet of roses so I could enjoy them before my Birthday.
ImageI am not a big cake person, but I really love Pie. So we had a Pie Party. Yummy

ImageSome of the moms from my Preschool were so nice. They brought me cupcakes to decorate with the kids, flowers and balloons for my Birthday. It was very nice.

Life is Good when you are BuSY!

This last month has been one of the busiest I have had since we have lived in Texas. It is a bit of an adjustment trying to get my life organized. I am really loving teaching preschool, I have just had to learn how to really prioritize my time and cut out any of those time wasting activities. I have also started to begrudge the cleaning an upkeep of my house. Things are starting to get on a roll now.

We have been having so much fun. I have taken literally hundreds of pictures of my classes. I want to start a separate blog for Preschool so I can put up all the pictures I want to. Andrew always thinks I put up too many pictures as it is. We had our first field trip to Dew Berry Farm. It had been raining all week. The sun finally came out for us, but not in time to dry up all the mud. Mostly it was a perfect hot and muggy Texas day.

Dew Berry Farm is a fun little kids farm that has a barn with a few animals, a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch, go-carts, big slides

Corbin - Catch'n some airImageWe had to wait way too long for the hayride out to the pumpkin patch. The kids were all hungry and getting tired. They still pretty well. They all got to pick their little baby pumpkin.

ImageAndrew had fun on these too!
ImageWe got to race in these giant wheels thingys.
ImageWild Flowers were very pretty
ImageWe were all exhausted after this long, but fun day. After the Farm we went to IKEA which is always fun, there isn't one close by. Then we stopped for a short visit with good friends. I didn't get any pictures, but it was good to visit with Ava, Luke and Elise.

Random Cuteness

ImageI haven't put up any new pictures of the boys lately, so this is what I came up with. I just have to add that Carter is really giving me a run for my money. His middle initial 'M' definitely stands for Mischief Maker! I can barly blink with out him getting into something he shouldn't. He is not usually trying to be bad. He loves to be helpful, but his idea of that and mine often differ slightly. He is super independent and does not like me to help him at all. He also loves sharing. If anyone finishing eating something he thinks it is his job to make sure that gets more even if that means sharing the last drop of milk in his own cup. He was very attentive to take care of Andrew after his surgery. He watched his glass like a hawk. As soon as it was empty he would bring it to me for a refill and then carefully take it back to Daddy. He really is a sweetie.

Then there are the days that are all mischief. Like the day the Relief Society President was coming to my house for a meeting and he decided to squeeze red toothpaste all over the living room floor. He made such a pretty picture of swirls that covered the entire floor. I could list several more such things, but I would rather look at these pictures inseadImageCaught in the act. Posing with the weapon.

ImageCorbin has started representational drawings. He drew this outside. Any guesses on what it is a picture of?
ImageIt is a teddy bear holding a Giraffe, obviously. I hope you all were able to see that.

Family's Visit

ImageImageWe had a few visitors from San Antionio this month. Well, my sister was in San Antionio visiting my cousin and they all came down to visit us for the weekend. It was good to see them and their little boy. My boys absolutely adored him.
