If you haven't heard, the two communities have decided to merge so that all your Sailor Moon merchandise posts can be together. You'll be allowed to post collection updates, photo-shoots, collection related memes, bootleg inquiries, LTB/LTS/LTT; all in one place! As long as it's collection related, it's all good. :D

When will this happen, you ask? Well, we started this a couple weeks ago. Sadly, killmeneko and I were pretty busy when the idea first arose, so it has taken us longer than expected to get everything finalized. However~ This is your 1 week alert. On August 1st, 2012, the community will be closed to new posts. On this same day, sales will be allowed in smcollector, and I will post an announcement there as well. Please take this time to finish up any transactions you may have started recently. Take down names and get in contact via PM if you must, but I encourage you to wrap everything up within the community. Please do not make any posts that you cannot follow through with in this time frame.

So after much debate and much consideration I think I'm at the point where I am able to part with all of my collection. I made rent last month in large part due to the awesome help of this community and I want to thank all those who participated and were lovely through my time of need. It means alot to me. I'm definitely still a moonie at heart, and luckily my situation has turned a bit, I have a job, about 2 days a week but it's something and I'm happy to have it! I'm not completely leaving the moonie fandom, I plan to continue with focusing just on the anime cels I've been collecting along side :) Anyways almost everything is for sale with the exception of some things that I find would be too difficult to part with and personally I'd like to keep just a bit of the moon theme going on ;) Everything has a direct sale price, your welcome to offer or just flat out ask for the price, both are fine by me. I have a bit of news regarding the banned user, pixelmari (aka sakuyakumashiro). She has started a 'new' community for buying, selling and trading Sailor Moon goods. It's called tsukihenshin. (No doubt meant to be a slap in the face to me, lol.) Anyway, I'm not going to tell you you can't join. That's up to her, LOL. I wouldn't advise supporting her though. If you have any respect for serasell, you'll avoid her community at all costs, and ask your friends to do the same. She is a known cel scammer and she recently filed fraudulent PayPal claims against our mod, killmeneko. If you missed the childish outbursts that sent her temporary ban shooting to permanent, please see her original ban announcement for all of our evidence. New evidence linking pixelmari and sakuyakumashiro to being the same person can be provided if requested, in the form of PayPal screencaps.

I implore you to share this information with as many of your SM fan friends and communities as possible! Use Facebook, Twitter, other forums, anything and everything you can think of. We need to put this scammer to a stop!

You may remember this post, and the user pixelmari being banned from serasell</lj>. She was supposed to be temporarily banned for being a very bad buyer. She was rude and insulting, and she kept in very poor communication over months of bargaining. She was 'permanently' banned for profane and childish outbursts in regard to her temporary ban.

Instead of waiting awhile and appealing her ban, she posted stuff like this, and joined under another username sakuyakumashiro. proof
She has been doing business with members here since her ban under this name, INCLUDING with the members she's been slandering all over her pixelmari lj since last year! (I sold stuff to her too..)
On top of this, we think the user snowlands may be pixelmari, or someone working for her. If anyone has done business with that user, I would appreciate if you could send the name/address she used to tsuki_no_eifie.

NO she wasn't a scammer or terrible to do business with all the time, so we honestly would have considered letting her back in the community at some point.
Instead of trying to prove herself, she continued to post bad things about serasell</lj> as pixelmari , while still being an active member as sakuyakumashiro . Because of this, she is 100% permanently banned with no chance of any appeal, for as long as this community exists.

UPDATE: sakuyakumashiro  just filed two Item Not Received disputes against me in Paypal, as I suspected she would. She already confirmed receiving the first package, and the second box was sent last week. SHE IS NOW COMMITTING FRAUD, and I would highly recommend NO ONE do business with her in the future.

Of course we will not tell you who you can and can't do business with, the choice is up to you. However, for those of you who don't want to do business with this person, here is what you have to watch out for:

Some of you may remember this post, and the Korean Star Locket incident (thanks to mattsandwich for naming it that!)
From the beginning, I have had nothing but stress dealing with this user. I actually fired her as a customer, but didn't make a big deal of it or tell anyone in this community. cosmicheart  had a huge ordeal with her too. After the Korean Star Locket incident, a couple different users PMed me about flyingpeachbun . Basically, she was getting purchases from people on this community and eBay, and saying they had damages or just weren't in as good condition as she expected. She was asking for refunds, or some money back (she did this to me, as well). It is possible she bought an item from someone to replace one she already had, and the one she had was in worse condition, so she was basically switching them out, and trying to make hers look like the sellers. We don't know.
Anyways, she has been banned and I would advise all of you to avoid selling to her, unless you want to give your stuff away. I can provide email/address information for anyone who thinks they may have been scammed by her under a different username (please PM me). So far, we have no reason to believe she is lurking this community.


On that note, I would just like to say it is very important to speak up around here. If you see something suspicious or something you think the mods should be aware of- let us know! We try to keep this community as safe and pleasant as possible but we are only human. There is no pay for this position, so we wouldn't even bother with stuff like this if we didn't care about the community and the members here.
Please keep in mind that if you are going to disagree with other users- don't attack personally or use profanity- keep it civil! Disagreeing with a MOD or having a difference of opinion with other members will not get you banned. You can be honest, just be respectful.

Hello everyone.

I have some rather upsetting news. Due to a recent mishap between a buyer and a seller here in this community, I have been forced to draw up a new rule regarding direct sales. By direct sales, I mean sales where the items are posted directly to the community, rather than posted in a sales journal or eBay.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

All sellers must photograph their items with a slip of paper that have their username and the current date written on them. This applies to ALL sellers who post directly to the community. I don't care if you have 5 feedback or 500 feedback. This is a rule and it must be followed. In time, I may allow members with certain qualifications to apply for immunity, but until I iron out those details, this is how it must be. Posts from this point on will oblige or be deleted without warning.

For those who link to sales in another journal such as sales or another community, obviously this rule cannot be enforced upon you. I do not have that power. I do recommend it, as it's an excellent way to show your potential buyers that you mean business; good business. I don't expect you to go through and re-photograph everything though, so it's your choice. Don't be surprised if you have buyers as you to do this for something they're interested in though. If you refuse, it could mean a loss of business for you.

Buyers, do not abuse this rule. I don't want to receive complaints from sellers who took a massive amount of new photos for you, just for you to say "No thanks".

Lastly, I must warn you all about the option to send your PayPal payment as a gift. I do not recommend this to anyone. Admittedly I did this myself for some time after PayPal changed their policies about a year ago. It used to be that instant payments were free of fees, and the only fees charged were via credit card. This is not the case anymore. Buyers, you run the risk of not receiving a refund if something goes wrong with your transaction; be it honest or fraudulent. Sellers, you run the risk of having your PayPal account suspended if you receive a suspicious amount of gift payments. You are also not allowed to charge your buyers the fee, as it is against PayPal's TOS. If you are really concerned about money lost to fees, up the prices of your items by a $1-2, or charge a handling fee. DO NOT charge buyers a PayPal (PP) fee. Did you read these rules? If so, please use the word resolution in your reply to this post.

That is all. If you have any questions, please ask here. All comments will be screened until I see fit to unscreen them.

EDIT: An amendment to this rule is as follows;

Pictures can be recycled for one month after the date pictured. Once that time frame has passed, you must re-take your photo to ensure the item's condition and its presence in your possession.

EDIT 11/5/10: An amendment to the previous amendment;

Rather than try to make people re-take photos of all their items once a month, it will now be left to the buyers discretion. Take note of the date on the note in the current photo. If you feel enough time has passed where you would feel more comfortable seeing an updated photo, ask the seller to provide one.

I think this is more lenient and puts more responsibility on the buyer. After all, sales are not one-sided. The buyer must do their part in keeping themselves safe.

Convention attendees had the first opportunity to buy this book. It featured a hot pink background cover with a shiny silver crescent moon and star. This was the first English release of any Sailor Moon comic and a rare collector's item. Get it while you still can!
