A 2025 independent evaluation by ICF confirmed what we’ve seen for years: SFEPD’s financial education programs work. Our tailored workshops and Student Ambassador Program improve financial knowledge, confidence, and well-being—helping participants of all backgrounds build wealth and achieve economic mobility. From HBCU campuses to local communities, SFEPD Empowers people to gain confidence, form strong money habits, and shape brighter financial futures.

Our Impact by the Numbers
- Financial education provided to 700,000+ Americans, including 600,000 college students
- Financial education and professional development programs have been offered at 90 colleges and universities
- Active at 46 Historically Black Universities and Colleges (HBCUs)
- 5,517+ individuals earned the Financial Literacy Certificate since its launch in fall 2024
- 44 HBCU students have kick-started their finance careers in the last two years by passing the Securities Industry Essentials Exam with our help
