Kindergarten Registration Begins January 2026
Registration for incoming kindergarteners for the 2026-2027 school year begins in January! Children who will be age 5 on or before September 1, 2026, are eligible to enter kindergarten. Visit our Registration webpage for important information and dates.

Wissahickon High School is proud to be ranked among the top 4% of high schools in the nation and among the best in the state by U.S. News & World Report in 2025! WHS placed in the top 4% nationwide, 3rd highest in Montgomery County, and 21st in Pennsylvania (or 17th when excluding special admission schools).

We Are Shady: PBIS Parody
This September, every staff member at Shady Grove participated in a parody song and dance to teach students about PBIS. The parody of Beyonce's "Texas Hold 'Em" taught students about being respectful, responsible, and safe in the classroom, hallways, bathroom, playground, and cafeteria. Thanks to Mrs. Cheryl Broderick, SGE teacher, for writing the lyrics and Ms. Karah Barrist, former SGE music teacher, for the vocals.
