This is my Masterpost for my fic here on dreamwidth. Most of my stuff now is posted here (though I sometimes also post on ao3 or Rockfic). For my lj stuff, here is a list that probably needs majorly updating.
My Ao3 is here

So there it is, stuff with a 🔒 is stuff that’s friends list only and likely won’t be reopened, but, going forward, not much will be like that. My older stuff is still locked as well, but that might just be temporary.

Sticky: Snowflake challenge 2024 - Day 1
Jan. 1st, 2024 06:56 pmChallenge #1
In your own space, update your fandom information. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
So it’s time for snowflake again already which seems strange because last year feels like not long ago (and also forever ago at the same time?). So happy new year snowflake people!
This post is now gonna be the new sticky post replacing the one from two years ago (why didn’t I replace it last year? Who knows!)
I’m Stuie, I’m 37 (which is very much what the fuck) and I live in the Uk. Currently I’m a student with the Open University, studying Renewable Energy which should be the last course of my degree (probably won’t be I don’t feel I’m doing well). I have anxiety and depression and probably other things, but we’ll see if I’m able to get better diagnosis and meds this year.
Anyway! Fandom things. I love Star Wars, The Legend Of Zelda and Doctor Who. The latter of which I post about whenever I watch episodes (be it new eps on tv or whenever I watch the collection boxsets, which are awesome).
I also game a lot, currently I’m working on Super Mario Wonder, Tears Of The Kingdom and I’ve recently started Jedi Survivor and Baldur’s Gate 3. Though I also play a bunch of other stuff too, Dead By Daylight, Dreamlight Valley, Elder Scrolls and a bunch of pad games (including Star Trek Timelines, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Cats Are Cute and Pokémon Masters).
However one thing I’ve ended up getting into are watching streamers. I watch QSMP streamers from time to time but I also often watch James Marriott (and his drummer Jago), Seapeekay, Shoto and a bunch of other generally unhinged and pretty streamer guys. (And I need to do an updated posted on them for people)
I used to like bandom stuff, though because of the various fandoms being awful it left a sour taste. I still like a variety of bands, currently that’s a mix of James Marriott, Set It Off, Sleep Token, Weathers, Lovejoy and Waterparks among others. And Atreyu, which is a rabbit hole I’ve very much fell down.
In general I post random nonsense, but I also do posts about Doctor Who and other things I watch (who is the main one I get into detail on though I wanna do more posts on other things).
I post fic, mostly on here, which mostly rpf nsfw (usually with streamers or bands) though I really need to get back to posting on ao3. I’ve kept meaning to but I’ve generally failed.
I’m very sure that I’ve missed something, but who knows.
Feel free to add me if any of that seems interesting, one thing I like about snowflake is making new connections so I hope to make some again this year. I try and be nice and friendly with people as best I can.
Hope you’re all having a nice new year.
I end with two pictures of my cat, because cats are cute (and she’s curled on my snoring now

Sticky: 130 Fic table
Jan. 9th, 2025 12:32 amOk so one thing I wanted to do is to do a new fic table thing (based partly on
carrythefire’s one. It was originally gonna be 30 but has somehow (especially tonight) ballooned to 80 oops.
My intent is not to start on it for awhile. I wanna finish my current main 5 fics and a few others (looking at you Slam Dunk fic and a few others so the first fic for this might not be till Febuary, but I want this to be a long term thing anyway.
Anywhere here it is (and damn the coding was a slog).

One way or another
Feb. 20th, 2026 11:35 pmUpdate post time.
Tuesday night was the last good ship murder which ended up being… depressing.
Wednesday we went down to Home Bargains to get some stuff that didn’t come with the food shop. I went in Game beforehand and got a Xenk figure, which was finally discounted! (And some Pokémon cards) it’s funny I find him after I switched in the Dungeons Of Dragons blu ray (but haven’t watched yet). In Home Bargains, ironically, was something I’d hoped to get from Game, some lil buildable ghost Pokémon which are very cute.
Thursday was an odd day. The replacement xbox memory card came and it works! I was worried that it was the slot that was the issue so I’m glad it wasn’t. (So now it’s just a matter of reinstalling things.) I built a Lego set I got I’d got with the creel house (a flying moon car which is pretty cool!) and watched two more traitors Ireland eps (it’s so chaotic).
Then I just went… blank. I couldn’t settle on doing anything. For about three hours I just switched between things and sat there, not wanting to do or watch anything, I went… blank. It’s been a long time since I’ve been like that and it was really annoying.
Eventually I did settle on watching a thing, an episode of Found Footage the series (pretty good for a short thing) but then just went to bed.
This morning I was still feeling a bit bleh so didn’t even wanna try focussing on uni stuff. It did fade after a few hours lying in bed.
After noms I went out to town, glad that it wasn’t raining.
I did some wandering around before the cinema. I managed to get a Pokémon boxset and Weapons blu ray from Asda, plus they had the Lego Christmas thing I’d seen in game and missed out on. Then I went in primark and got Dustin’s hellfire tee, along with a reduced Squawk sweater. And smiths had the Game Changers book so I grabbed that too. (I also got a drink from there and it was awful)
(And speaking of Pokémon, Fire Red and Leaf Green are coming to switch next week though I’m baffled that they announced it now and not during the Pokémon presents thing then)
Then I went to the cinema to see Cold Storage and Send Help.
Trailers first as always.
Obsession: Same Trailer as before
They Will Kill You: First time seeing this trailer and I’m very sold on it! It’s about a woman starting a job in a building, only it turns out it’s a pretence and the building is a trap to sacrifice her (only she can kick ass)
Ready Or Not 2: First time seeing this too. I’ve not seen the first one, though it was mentioned on horror’s greatest but this made me wanna watch it. This looks fun and Elijah Wood and Sarah Michelle Gellar!
How To Make A Killing: This one looks fun too, I’d seen something about it when I was having waffle fries and after seeing the trailer I do wanna see it
The Bride: a new trailer (I think, it feels different than the last one) and it does look pretty good.
Scream: more a spot than a proper trailer. I’m of two minds about it.
Passenger: not heard of this and I am intrigued, it gave me a similar energy to a fake documentary q ep.
So ye a lot of films I’m now more curious about/wanna try and see.
Thoughts on films ahoy.

Since today was the pass renewal date (and I didn’t do this for the last one) he’s the last two months of the cinema pass.
Month 6: December 20th - January 20th
13: Anaconda
17: The Boy And The Heron, Labyrinth
This was a quiet month, the quietest so far. Mostly that’s cause of the holidays but also cause of the weather and ice. But that does make the order of favs feel easy: Labyrinth, Anaconda, The Boy And The Heron.
Month 7: January 20th - February 20th
23: Return To Silent Hill
30: Another World (+ q and a), Iron Lung
14: Looney Tunes The Day The Earth Blew Up, Kangaroo
This month was more like normal. I can’t really separate my favs, which are Iron Lung and Kangaroo which couldn’t be more different. Then I’d say it’s Another Workd, Return To Silent Hill and then Looney Tunes.
***
This weekend is gonna be mostly resting, maybe watching Dungeons And Dragons (or The Beauty, or Heated Rivalry) and the Winter Olympics closing ceremony. (And maybe finally do the next Feb stuff I love post cause I’ve been so tuned out lately but we’ll see.)
Hopefully too I’ll start the Voyager game and fic but…

Feb. 17th, 2026 07:47 pmSo my intent was to have this next post be the next stuff I love post, albeit belated (I’d even made a start!) but my energy has just gone so… bleh again out of nowhere.
(Is it cause of the weather being bad? The loud noises from outside? Uni being an assessment week? I dunno, but mood and energy is back to being bleh. Not helped by my tummy feeling bleh after eating either)
I also tried chasing up the eye appointment I’m meant to have but… I’m still none the wiser. All I was told was the list was longer than the doctor thought which… not a surprise.
Short list of things I distracted my brain with
*ESO - did the hearts day event stuff and got some nice rewards, plus a hug from a giant hot tiger man
*[Redacted] - Listened to Hound, which is call mostly cause it has two Magnus Protocol voice actors in
*The Beauty - Had on the second ep and I can’t feel like the bad guys were incredibly stupid (like why’re you targeting the agents now when they don’t know anything??). Also Evan Peters character spoke another language and recognised an Egyptian hieroglyph like ??
*I decided to get Voyager Into The Unknown so that’s on my switch ready for tomorrow (who knows when I’ll play it though)
*Strange New Worlds - Watched The Serene Squall and I love Captain Angel, I hope they come back (and I’m surprised they apparently haven’t yet??)
*read a few more chapters of Heated Rivalry, I really need to get back to watching it
*got the new doctor Who humble bundle of audios, even though I have some from prior ones. It’s worth it though cause there’s a few boxsets and they’re usually £20-30 each (it’s £13.41 now and it’s here) I do wish they included a thing to add them to the big finish app but
The Long Walk’s actors won an ensemble award which is pretty cool. Plus it’s nice to see Josha and agarrett together (and Jordan). But damn are Joshua and Garrett really tall or the others short? Either way they look good in suits.
Plus!
There’s a new Mandalorian And Grogu trailer and damn! It looks so cool. I’m glad it gives us some idea of what the story is gonna be, plus Colonel Ward! Embo! Zeb! Dejarik creatures! It looks so cool. (Though it did make me sad to hear Ward talking about preventing a war cause we all know it… fails)
Also the cinema listings went live last night.
The plus side? Send Help is showing for an extra week so I should be able to see it when I see Cold Storage on Friday.
The downside? It seems Whistle is like Shelby Oaks and is only getting one week of showings which sucks. Hopefully it’ll come to streaming somewhere so I can watch. (I had considered doing a late night cinema trip to see both but wanted to avoid it if possible, both cause of uni stuff and cause of going Friday anyway).
After that I dunno when my cinema trip will be. I kinda like the look of Goat, and Crime 101, cause of Chris Hemsworth in an ad I saw, but I dunno if it’s enough to make the trip. So it might not be till I see Hoppers or Project Hail Mary. But we’ll see.
Nownow though I’m gonna bundle, watch stuff, poke my brain and marvel snap for the event.

Feb. 14th, 2026 06:40 pmSo yesterday I had intended to go to town to see Whistle and Send Help, but that didn’t end up happening cause I woke up in the morning and it was raining, and raining hard. Another storm hit and stayed around all day so that wasn’t happening.
I think cause of the weather (and it messing up my plans) I was low energy all day. I didn’t do much, though I did watch Seapeekay’s stream, cuddle Midna and watch the Winter Olympics (or rather half watch).
That did mean though I watched team go get our first medal! We got a gold in the skeleton bob! The thought of it is so terrifying down a track (?) on what’s essentially a tray fast first. I can’t imagine doing it myself but it was awesome to see how fast they went (and yay our guy getting the gold!)
It’s tour fair this weekend and there was Mandalorian And Grogu merch reveals which look cool. We finally have a name for Sigourney Weaver’s character (Colonel Ward) and it looks like she gets to fly an x-wing! Also there’s cute lil guys and a hot new unnamed droid.
Last night, after going on Dead By Daylight, I watched the first ep of The Beauty which seems pretty good so far. The hottest thing Evan Peters has done so far is speak French fluently. Plus I’d no idea till the credits that it’s based on a comic which is pretty cool.
Today the weather was much better. I had considered going to the cinema today I’d the weather had been bad yesterday but when I woke I wasn’t feeling it too much. Until mum (whips I must’ve mentioned it too) called me up and I felt that I should.
So I went. I didn’t do much in town, I posted off my package, checked in smiths for stickers (alas none) and found the record store that’s getting record store day (alas I didn’t have chance for a proper look, maybe next time). They are getting Sleep Token’s one though yay!
So it’s half term here which I guess is why there’s only showings of horror films in late afternoons/nights this week. So despite wanting to see Whistle and Send Help yesterday I was unable to see either today (if it wasn’t for MCC I might have but…) so instead I saw Looney Tunes and Kangaroo, which have the complete and total opposite vibes to what I’d hoped to see yesterday
(I am considering doing a night trip to see them both, but I’m hoping they’ll be showing on Friday so I can see one with Cold Storage.)
Trailers, just gonna do nee to me cause some (The Magic Faraway Tree, Hoppers, are ones I’d seen before)
Arco - looks pretty and I’m kinda curious about it
The Land Of Sometimes - Looks like a fun little thing and the titular land looks pretty
Thoughts on both ahoy.

On the return train back I read the Ghostwatch article in sfx. Apparently there’s a new blu ray version coming which is what the article is about (it ends saying it’s getting a release soon in Australia which seems odd). One thing that’s cool is they’ve got ceefax subtitles that they retrieved from recorded tapes. I had no idea that tapes had that stuff in recordings!
I got some cheap stuff from the co-op, then the Lego Star Wars magazine from somewhere else, before coming home and now I’m flop watching The Masked Singer/MCC. I might watch something tonight but who knows what.
I still need to do the week 2 of the stuff I love too oop. I might have done it yesterday if I wasn’t so drained.

Feb. 12th, 2026 08:58 pmTime for a lil post before the (hopeful) trip tomorrow.
So in a recent post I mentioned I was gonna try the demo of the new Star Trek Voyager game. The demo covered the first ‘mission’ of the game. It covers the basic events of Caretaker and gameplay is split into 4 parts.
1: Flying Voyager around star systems, scan planets/asteroids/ships, travelling to them and doing little missions to get materials (so far there’s things for power, building and science)
2: Ship management, which is all about building and managing various rooms in the ship. So you’re building crew quarters, workshops stuff like that (or unlocking them)
3: Missions on planets, where you sent away teams down and use their skills in events. (Ie Tuvok security skills, Torres’ resourcefulness)
4: Combat, which only was done briefly.
So far it’s pretty good! The graphics of the ship (and Deep Space Nine at the start) look great and some koh the art looks nice. The character models aren’t the best, but I didn’t expect them to be. The demo has definitely made me consider picking it up more, cause I did like what I played. It makes me curious if it’ll be following along the series or if it’ll have its own things too. Cause obviously it had to start with Caretaker but who knows if it’ll go off in other tangents, I might have to read up some more on it. It has 10% off as a launch discount so I am tempted.
Anyway!
I also finally built the Lego set I picked up when I saw Anaconda. It was Boba Fett’s Throne Room, which is meant to be from The Book Of Boba Fett (but is more from the post credits of a Mandalorian ep). Honestly I picked it up cause it was discounted (and is now discontinued so I never expected to see it) plus it had Feenec Shand and I didn’t have a figure of her. (Plus I love the Jabba’s Palace location and haven’t had a set since the original which wasn’t great.
The set is three parts, a lil alcove with seating, an entranceway (with the doorkeeper eyestalk) and the central area with the throne. It all looks pretty nice and the figure selection is really good, since it has a selection of aliens which is nice. The features ar mostly good, though it’s baffling the tower above the entrance doesn’t have a floor (it has a hole instead) and the door doesn’t have a mechanism to hold it up. I am glad I picked it up. It’s next to the Creel house now.
I also finally finished Halloween Party yay! It’s funny to me that before the story starts there’s a foreword by someone who worked on A Haunting In Venice, mentioning that the ‘adaption’ isn’t actually one. It’s an odd thing to include but yeah. Bar character names they don’t feel the same story at all. (I still love A Haunting In Venice it’s well done and creepy but it’s very much its own thing).
Overall I thought it was pretty good. It’s not my fav of the ones I’ve read (but does look the best) and I do love that it has Ariadne Oliver, she’s always fun when she appears. I’m not sure I have much in the way of actual thoughts on it. (Though I did note the use of the word lesbian, comments on technology making mistakes and Poirot thinking on a man being beautiful.)
I had intended on switching to Hawkins Horrors, which I picked up when ordering something for mum but didn’t start at the time but….
Today mums friend came so predictably I had to go to town. I could have paid the money in tomorrow but I decided it’s best to sort it today. I’m glad I did cause I had some finds. I found a bat plush that had Dustin’s cap so I had to get it (plus it was discounted when I paid for it too!), a Lego Minecraft magazine, the Minecraft Movie (it was discounted and I rememeber it being fun and silly) and Heated Rivalry! I was so surprised to see the book in Asda and I picked it up instantly, even though it had no price. I read the prologue on the bus back and ohh boy.👀
Alas though, still no sign of Stranger things stickers (well the hell are they?) but I did get an envelope I needed to send something back (the Xbox memory card which messed up around christmas) so hopefully I can send that tomorrow.
Tomorrow should be the cinema trip (weather allowing, but it’s been ok so far). The plan is to go and see Whistle, then Send Help, then post package (and find the store that’s doing record store day). That’s the hope anyway.

Feb. 11th, 2026 08:17 pmI had meant to do these more regularly but.. *gestures*
There’s over 20 questions to catch up on so let’s see how many I do. (Questions from here)hopefully going forward I won’t have to do a big dump like this.

Oh wow I ended up doing a full catch up damn.
I might make a standard post tomorrow, then a film post (post cinema) and the stuff I love second post… sometime,

Feb. 9th, 2026 11:39 pmSo this is gonna be a ‘bunch of random stuff post’.
First off, last week I watched the 4K of The House With Laughing Windows which I’d won. I’d have posted at the time but… I was doing the stuff I love post and didn’t wanna lose what I had or include it as an unrelated add on so it’s going here. (Also I need to chase up the Anaconda stuff I won cause that’s awol but… that’s a tomorrow problem)
I also finished horror’s greatest season 2, which has been interesting. I did note down some stuff from the last ep (I wish I’d noted recs as I was going along with others) cause the last was space horror. There were some obvious ones (Alien and Aliens), as well as Event Horizon and a brief mention of Sunshine too. And it made me wanna rewatch Life (I need to stop finishing things to rewatch).
I also managed to take pics of the Finished Creel house which are here
I had hoped to get back to Heated Rivalry, or start The Beauty, this weekend but my eyes went annoyingly achy and I didn’t have the focus. Maybe it’s the storm that happened, maybe it’s the eye stuff I’m waiting on, but it’s still annoying. Bleh.
(I did at least manage to fic so maybe that’s a good sign)
Also annoying mum’s friend is coming this week and it’s the worst day. She’s coming Thursday which… bleh. It’s an annoying day, mostly cause I was thinking of going out on Friday (more on that later) cause my money goes in then. That would’ve also been better cause I’m sure she’ll do her usual annoying wanting and I’ll have to head out. Bleh.
Also annoying, mum being bitchy this morning and disturbing me mid uni reading to do it. Ugh.
A good thing though, I finished Pokémon Legends ZA today. Well I’ve not fully finished it, I still haven’t got every Pokémon or finished the side missions (or dlc) but I got to the credits rolling. (I’m sure there’s more to do of course, and I finished a few little main things after that)
Overall I really liked it. The change to battling took some getting used to but by the end I really liked it once I did. I also loved the new characters, Corbeau was my fav (maybe cause he’s hot) but I loved how everyone had their own personality and managed to be so different from each other (and similar in some ways)
I think the main flaw is that you’re just in Lumiose. While it has managed to be varied and with the wild zones too, it does feel a tad… limiting. And also it feels bizarre that certain characters aren’t there. Where’s the professor? There’s Clemont and his gym? But at the same time I liked that it let with the fallout of x and y (although honestly, it’s been so long my thoughts are hazy). And the ending was surprisingly emotional.
I had said to myself (even saying it Sunday), that I had meant to get Hyrule Warriors on release but didn’t want to get it till after finishing ZA. Alas that took longer than I expected oops. But now the timing is so bad. Part of me does wanna get Hyrule Warriors but then Resident Evil Requiem is coming soon and then Pokopia is. And also there’s a Star Trek Voyager game that looks really interesting too (and has some of the actors returning for it). So ahhh I’m so indecisive. I’ll have to give it all some thought. But knowing me I’ll get paralysed by it and do nothing.
(And oh there’s a demo of the Voyager game, I’ll download that and report back)
As mentioned above there was a stuff I love thing last week for standalone stuff and this week is series. I’m planning on doing two posts for it, one for shows, one for films, so stay tuned for that (who knows when that’ll be).
I also wanna go to the cinema Friday (or Saturday) but I’m caught in a dilemma of what to see. This time it’s not due to a lack of films but rather I wanna see a few things. They are:
*Looney Tunes: The Day The Earth Blew Up - releasing Friday I saw the trailer and it looked like it’d be pretty funny
*Send Help - I’ve seen trailers and heard good things, but I’m indecisive on it
*Whistle - Looked really good from the trailer but Friday has the only daytime showing despite it being new
*Kangaroo - Looks cute and fun and has baby kangaroos. I thought I’d missed it cause it wasn’t listed after Sunday but it’s back from Saturday for another week at least
I can do my usual thing and see two but the question is which 2. Plus there’s the issue, Whistle only has a morning showing Friday (all the rest are night) and Kangaroo isn’t showing Friday at all. I know I could watch something next Friday because I’m definitely going to see Cold Storage but it feels like some won’t be around then (and I won’t know for sure till Monday argh)
I’ll have a ponder and see what works best. On the plus side the cinema is also confirmed to be getting Exit 8 in April, yay!
(And unrelated there’s a record store in town doing Record store day then too so I’ll have to find that cause there’s a Sleep Token thing in it)

An Offer
Pairing: Anthony Martinez/Brandon Saller
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Boot kink, smut
Notes: Belated Xmas fic, I wasn’t sure what to do (I did consider it being Jyrki focussed but for some reason my mind couldn’t come up with a clear thought, same with a directly Xmas idea) then suddenly this vague idea came to mind so…
(But yay it’s done at last! Though the title is kinda sucky but it’s almost 3am and can’t think of a better one, I’ll also link in pics in the morning)

Stuff I love: standalone films
Feb. 6th, 2026 08:54 pm
Challenge 1:
Make a Top Ten list for your favourite standalone media and tell people exactly why you love it. This can be in any format - movies, one shot dramas, novels, short stories, plays, something else not mentioned here. Whatever you like!
So I had hoped to get this done earlier in the week but between the combo of 2 things (1: brain being blah and 2: brain going ‘file not found’ with films) it’s took mee longer to do than I hoped. (Even as I start this I’m not sure what the last entry is going to be.)
So to start with I’ve defined standalone as being just that, a film that’s just a one off film. It’s not part of a bigger film series, it’s not a prequel or a sequel (at least at time of writing). Some of these things might have stuff in other media, just not a film follow up. Some of these I wish had sequels and that will come up when I get to them.
It’s also not a ranking, the way they are listed are more ‘this is the order they came to mind’ than ‘this is the order I rank them’. (Because honestly? I find it hard to rank things) And also I am 110% sure I’m missing something. I’m sure as soon as this is posted I’ll go ‘oh! How could I forget that??’
Ok enough rambling.

Feb. 4th, 2026 05:58 pmFirst off good news!

I’m going to see Waterparks next month! I’m just glad tickets were still there as I’d not been able to get them on release, or last month like I hoped.
And also I’ve got a ticket to the As It Is signing/show at Birmingham HMV in July (which is good cause I missed them when they toured last year). Hopefully the new album is good.
But ugh the last days have been… eh. I dunno something triggered in my brain Sunday (don’t ask me what cause I dunno) which made my low level sadness even worse and it’s been like that since to verying degrees. I’ve tried to distract myself as best I could but… eh.
It has meant I’ve been delayed doing the new February stuff I love thing (Ihad brainstormed 5 out of 10 things but then utterly stalled) but hopefully tomorrow or Friday at the latest.
But speaking of tomorrow there’s a new Nintendo direct so hopefully it’ll have info on the Resident Evil amiibo cause its partner stuff not first party. The last nintendo direct was last week on Tomodachi Life which looks fun and it was nice to confirm you can make characters that are non binary as well as gay or bi (or ace) which is nice.
Today there was the new Muppet Show which was fun, so everyone go see it so they get a series of it.
I’m thinking tonight of watching The House With Laughing Windows but it depends on how my brain feels.
I am thinking of going to the cinema Saturday, to see the new Looney Toons film and Kangaroo (cause Kangaroo is seemingly only showing until Sunday and Looney Tunes is getting earlier preview showings then) but that depends on my mood, will and weather.
I think I was gonna say something else but… it’s gone.

Under the sky
Feb. 1st, 2026 11:51 pmSo I wasn’t gonna make another post tonight (my mood’s kinda off) but I watched The Night Manager and I have Thoughts and Feelings for the finale (which are obviously spoilery so will go under the cut).

So I was gonna do January’s one of these and realised I’d not done Decembers so… here it is doubled up.

It is surprising how much I ended up doing considering December is one of those months that’s full of nonsense. (And there’s usually good tv that sidetracks me too, which it did.)
It’s funny just how many Treehouse Of Horror eps I managed to watch, I still need to finish the run I was doing with them (I only managed, as you’ll see, a few in January.)
I also finished a game, I think in one or two nights, with A Game About Digging A Hole. I only did it originally as a gamepass quest game (each month you get bonus points for playing 15 mins at least of 8 games) but I just… kept going. It’s one of those games where it’s very much… the title says it all about it.
Cinema films were a wild variety but I did like most of them. And of the other films I saw I really really thought Strange Harvest was great.
I also did manage to finish a fic, but I dunno. My heart was in it as I did it and I had hoped it’d lead to more and just… didn’t. Eh. (I know it’s partly cause of irl stuff but partly my confidence is so… eh)

Ended up listening to a bunch of Who audios this time. First a two partner which I finally listened to cause of watching Brain Of Morbius. It was quite a good two parter for the most part. then I put on ninth doctor ones, one I got with the Who magazine one set I picked upon sale. And damn the way it opened with the new series theme really took me back. I still need to finish the last story on the boxset though.
I had started Heated Rivalry and, despite loving the first ep I just haven’t watched more and I dunno why. I really should watch more. The landscape Artist of the year was an ep we missed cause of the traitors and… someone used AI. Like ?? What. They used it for a reference of a palace guard and I was like ?? Just look for one? I’m so….
Other than that there was Stranger Things (I’ve posted thoughts on that, though admitted I’ve become more soured on it over time), Seven Dials (which I really enjoyed) and other stuff I’ve mentioned in posts. Horrors Greatest was the last of the things I watched and I loved that The Loved Ones and Ghost Watch got shout outs. I need to watch that again.
While I didn’t finish a book I did get back to Halloween Party.
I’m surprised I watched so many cinema films, especially cause I didn’t see Anaconda till late cause of everything.
Hopes for this month
*Watch more Heated Rivalry
*Finish Welcome To Derry
*Start The Beauty
*Watch The House With Laughing Windows
*Cinema - Cold Storage definitely, hopefully the new Looney Toons, maybe other things
*Finish Halloween Party
*Finish Pokémon ZA

Down too deep
Jan. 31st, 2026 08:43 pmSo this is the inevitable film post which is gonna cover 4 films, though the first two more briefly.
The films are: Until Dawn, The Rift, Another World, Iron Lung. First two under this cut, second two a little later
( Read more... )
Yesterday the weather was fine, not bad like I feared (causa the weather app) so I went to town.
Before heading out mail came which was something mum ordered but also the micro sd for the switch 2 huzzah I can game more and take screenshots again! Also there was the new Funko of Will which was meant to come Wednesday so that was a surprise. He looks so cool using his powers. (And in town I wandered round and got the new Vecna)
So onto the films! (Most of this written last night at the station)
Today’s been a low energy day since I came back after midnight, but I did catchup on some stuff (Would I Lie To You, Death In Paradise, QI XL) but the main thing for today was the film I won from sfx arrived! I had to chase it up earlier in the week but it’s here.
It’s so funny that my second 4K film (after Trick R Treat) is this completely random film I know nothing about. I’m curious though and will likely watch in a few days. It is a pretty cool cover though

Though I’m gonna watch Ranboo’s watch of Marble Hornets and maybe poke my brain (and watch Horror’s Greatest maybe)

Snowflake Challenge 2026 - 15, 5, 6
Jan. 30th, 2026 02:26 pmA few more snowflake challenges
Challenge #15
How Did the Fandom Snowflake Challenge Go? Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it.
As I mentioned at the start of the last post here I’ve been behind on snowflake this year due to irl stuff. That’s much like last year, where I was recovering from surgery during snowflake then so was out of it.
So this yeah has been kinda like that, I’ve not had the focus to participate as much as I wanted. First cause of a slip on the ice, then because a large Lego set came and pulled my focus, then cause of stress and mental health making me crash. It sucks but it’s unavoidable.
I am hoping to catch up on the few I haven’t done (and look at my flist fills for it) but we’ll see if I actually do.
Challenge #5
In your own space, create a list of at least three things you'd love to receive, a wishlist of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it and include a link to your wishlist if you feel comfortable doing so.
I covered this on here with some things but I thought of another.
Does anyone know a Uk site that has the physical versions of Clown In A Cornfield 2 + 3, I can’t seem to find them anywhere.
(And damn I know I had another thought of a thing but it’s gone now, watch it come back when I’m out.
Challenge #6
Top 10 Challenge. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it.
If anyone has ones they’d like to see added let me know but for now I’ll just do the three from
fleshdoll

I’m heading out in a few hours to see the cinema, first to see Another World which has a Q and A with the director! And then to see Iron Lung (maybe). I hate that we only have a limited run and late at night too. It means I might be stuck in town for under an hour (cause the trains are only one an hour) so we’ll see.

Snowflake Challenge catch up - 4, 5, 8
Jan. 27th, 2026 06:58 pmSo I’m so far behind for Snowflake so I’m gonna try and catch up on a few now (who knows how many I’ll do)
For snowflake people, hi welcome in! I only did the first 2 challenges cause I fell on the ice (hurting both my hands), then I got distracted by a Lego project (the Stranger Things Creel House), the. I got hit by low energy/bad brain which sucked.
But anyway!
Challenge #4: Rec The Contents Of Your Last Page
Any website that you like, be it fanfiction, art, social media, or something a bit more eccentric!
As a Bernal site, I find myself lost on tv tropes often. I usually go on there after watching something and then end up getting sidetracked by stuff.
This is the latest fic im fixated on and hoping gets another part soon. It’s a Strnager Things fic set post season 5 about Dustin and Steve adventuring, breaking into old research sites and… Something goes wrong. I think you can guess what from the tags.
If you’re a fan of Japanese horror and found footage stuff there is Fake Documentary q. I’m not even half way through them yet, but I really love the vibes they’ve got going on. It makes me think of Noroi: The Curse. (Hopefully I’ll watch more tonight)
[Redacted] is my current podcast I’m listening to. It’s about a group of people who are investigating a variety of supernatural things or a secretive agency. Think The X-Files or Torchwood. I’m really loving it so far.
I end with this article which isn’t fandom related at all but is interesting. It came up in my uni studies and it’s a fossil that’s been found of a snake, which includes the remains of lizard in its stomach, which also includes a beetle in its one.
Challenge #5
In your own space, create a list of at least three things you'd love to receive, a wishlist of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it and include a link to your wishlist if you feel comfortable doing so.
So this led me to finally doing an updated fic wants post I don’t expect people to do anything for it though, it’s just given me the incentive to do it. (Though if anyone wants to or has recs based on them feel free!)
However! There’s other things I feel that snowflake people can help with, that I’d be eternally grateful for.
First, I’m looking for the new Strnager Things stickers. I’ve not been able to find them anywhere, only managing to find the sticker album once. I just need places that have them to check (I know the panini site has added the big boxes last week, but I know there’s packs and sets that come with cards and I wanna at least know what they are).
Second, two specific things. I’m looking for two films which I can’t seem to find. The first is National Anthem which is a film I wanna see cause it has Charlie Plummer in it, yet I can’t find it anywhere. So if anyone knows where it is to watch in the uk let me know. (I’m trying to watch some of The Long Walk actors filmography and it’s hard to find his stuff in general, so if anyone has his other stuff too)
Same thing again for As You Are, which has Charlie Heaton kissing a guy (which is why I wanna see). The trouble is it’s title makes it hard to search for which is so annoying.
Lastly general horror recs of the following:
*Underwater horror films (ideally not shark centric)
*Plant based horror films (I recently watched the Doctor Who ep The Seeds Of Doom and now have an urge)
*Anything with haunted technology, especially if it’s retro tech (think stuff like The Ring/Ring)
*Any space based sci-fi horror
I’ll take films, shows or games for any of those.
Those are the main things that have come to mind (at least since I saw the post with the challenge!)
I’m gonna have a think on what I can do for 6 (the top 10 challenge) so if anyone is curious about top 10 things they’d wanna know from me feel free to let me know. Challenge 9 is kinda covered in the fic wants post but I might have a ponder and expand on it.
So I’m gonna end with this one.
Challenge #8
Talk about your creative process.
Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it.
Creativity vibes lately have been so off.
But usually I’ll get an idea, sometimes it came from a vague thought, something I’ve watched or a prompt. I have a discord where I note vague ideas down, just in case they lead to anything else (along with links to stuff).
Then I open a document, do the usual thing I do when I post here (pairing, rating, warnings, notes) and then I note down The vague idea so I can rememebr if I have to come back to it, then I save it usually as a random thing but so I can remember (usually pairing and whatever concept/kink it’s about. Then I try and work on it, sometimes I get a good burst in and do a lot paragraphs in, sometimes just a few, sometimes just a few lines. (Especially when my brain gets ideas when I’m tired which is annoying). And then it’s a dice roll if it actually gets worked on or added to the pile of WIPs (usually depending on outside sources like mental health or other irl stuff or just getting sidetracked).
Now I’m gonna bundle up, watch Good Ship Murder, then the Pokémon stream and maybe fic or go on Dead By Daylight (yipeee new Stranger Things stuff in it!) but I might get sidetracked.

Fic wants 2026
Jan. 26th, 2026 09:44 pmSo every so often I do one of these posts and the last one was August 2024 which is awhile ago. I had thought about updating the last one a few months back but decided there were too many updates for that. (And then stuff got in the way)
So here’s the new one finally being done, partly cause of snowflake having a wishlist post, but also partly to distract my brain. (But also damn I intended to post this last week and it’s took me this long)
In large part the ones from the last post still apply even if they’re not posted again. (And from others too)

So I had hoped, again, to get more posts out but alas my brain has been too sidetracked which is annoying. (Maybe I’ll have another up before the night’s up but we’ll see, more likely tomorrow)
Monday ended up being annoying cause of mum’s firmed coming, which meant I ended up going to town to put money in the bank. On the plus side it meant I got a Will figure from Morrisons (it was the last one and discounted) but still no stickers or the b and m stuff I was hoping to get. But b and m did have some of the new Lego poly bags and I did get some stuff from Iceland.
Then I came home and of course she wants more stuff which.. Ugh. I hate that she’s like this. Then the next day some of the stuff came and one was a plant that was real (she expected it to be artificial, despite its description clearly saying it was live) and she called wanting to send it back then called again saying she changed her mind which… ughh.
Also speaking of stuff coming neither of the things I won have arrived. I sent one a message asking if it had been sent but haven’t heard a reply yet. I fear it has ended up somewhere else, but as I’ve no idea and I dont like the idea of going around chasing it up with no idea where it could be.
But fast forward through the week (cause it was largely low energy) and we get to yesterday.
I ended up going to town to see Return To Silent Hill. I didn’t do much in town itself, I checked for stickers (nope), got a drink and a Disney book partwork, then the fantastic 4 comic and meal deal from Tesco (cause I had £10 credit to use).
When I got to the cinema the guy at the counter instantly knew I was coming for Silent Hill before I said it which was funny. He’s nice I’ve seen him before and I got to talking how I came then cause it was one of the two day showings they had (Monday is the other) and how I wanted to avoid late night ones, despite planning to come on Friday next week for teo late films. (Please weather don’t be cold like planned.
I had considered going for another film but there wasn’t anything I wanted to see that wasn’t clashing (I considered No Other Choice but doubted I’d have the focus).
Trailers
Obsession: Less a trailer, more a scene of a guy on a phone. It seems like regular customer service until he starts talking about a wish and if it was real love that he’d wished someone to love him. Not sure what to make of it from that alone though
Scream 7: A new trailer for me, but I kinda lost focus on scream after hearing how two of the actresses were treated. It looks like it could be good but I dunno.
Whistle: One I’ve seen before and it looks pretty good I might see it
Cold Storage: my beloved, I really am so hyped for this. Like honestly it’s the film I’m second most excited for (which says a lot considering it’s a Star Wars year)
Send Help: felt like a new version of the trailer, not sure if I’ll see it, we’ll see
Primate: one of those trailers that’s like ‘we put cameras on a crowd to see how they reacted’ trailers. I’m still eh about it though.
Anyway onto Return To Silent Hill.
Next cinema trip should (hopefully) be Friday for Another World and Iron Lung.
Speaking of films there’s a trailer for Masters Of The Universe and I’m really into it. Like I’ve never seen He Man or anything but it has convinced me to check it out. It has a bit of a guardians vibe to it. And yeah hit guy in a skimpy outfit is always a plus.
When I got home the new SFX was here (a surprise it’s not out till next week) but ah! It feels very relevent to my interests cause there’s several articles one after another that goes: Cold Storage, Ghost Watch, The War Between The Land And The Sea, Stranger Things. So I looking forward to reading those things. (And also the Hawkins Horrors book came cause I ordered it with stuff mum wanted to get an offer. I hope my ability to book read returns from the war.)
Last night was the Traitors finale and ahhh. I’m not gonna say more but I fully expected it to go differently especially after Thursday’s round table. (It’s so funny they didn’t have to use that tie break thing before and this season they used it twice after first using it in the celeb one)
Today I decided to finish off the Doctor Who boxset by watching The Seeds Of Doom.
Now I’m finishing The Masked singer (the wrong person was unmasked damnit), then will watch the next Seven Dials and the Seeds Of Doom special features (and maybe other stuff).

Now I’m finishing The Masked singer (the wrong person was unmasked damnit), then will watch the next Seven Dials and the Seeds Of Doom special features (and maybe other stuff).
An attempt at returning to posting cause I failed the last days doing the things I wanted.
First off the Animal Crossing update is live and I managed to find my game to go on it. It’s been so long I’ve honestly forgotten some of the stuff (I need to look up gyroid fragments cause I’ve honestly forgot what they were) but it has been good going back on it. I’m glad there’s new Splatoon and Zelda items and I’ve been slowly ordering the latter, I now have majora’s mask on which was always my go to think to wear. And I’m so glad for the storage increase so I can clear stuff up. I might redo some parts of my island (it’s currently a mass of flowers) but I’m not sure what I’ll do yet.
As for the new stuff I like the hotel and the tourists wandering around the island is a cute idea. I’m just worried that it won’t be enough to keep long interest (I think there’s only 8 rooms in the hotel to design plus a vip). Maybe there’s other secret features and a long list of items to get from there but…
Thursday night had a Resident Evil showcase which felt too short and kinda pointless. Two of the big things, a Resident Evil concert and amiibo weee met with ‘more info on those soon’. They didn’t even confirm what the amiibo would be (I’m assuming Leon and Grace but..). I am tempted to get game on switch 2 cause if that though once there’s confirmation.
Friday announced the new Lego set finally, the final battle with ganon from ocarina if time. It’s a smart move and looks nice (especially Ganondorf) but I wish there was some of the castle.
In an attempt to distract myself I built the Lego set I got from the sale before new year, which came Tuesday, it was the animal crossing dodo airlines set. It’s like most of the AC sets, annoyingly simple, but the plane is really nice. I just wish it had both of the dodos instead of just the pilot.
Yesterday was a town trip to the cinema. The stuff I’d hoped to do in town was mostly a failure, Tesco didn’t have stuff I was going to get, the Christmas Lego in game I saw in game Tuesday was already gone, smiths still didn’t have stranger things stickers. (Have they really underestimated demand or is distribution terrible?)
On the plus side Smyths did get the Dustin Funko in so I was able to get him (my face when I saw he’d come back in stock the other day I was so glad) and I did get my click and collect from Primark (a tee and jacket) so that was a plus.
(And on the ither plus side there was a cute lil squirrel at the bank by the station)
At the cinema there was a poster for Cold Storage whcih made me squee a bit. I’m so seeing that on release day. Plus the cinema is getting Iron Lung! I hope they add extra times (same for Return To Silent Hill this week) but hopefully I can see it.
Trailers were a few I’d not seen before.
Hoppers: a new trailer showing more of what it’s about, so I’m a bit more curious
Goat: felt too short to form an opinion
Stitch Head: looks really cute, made me laugh
Kangaroo: made me squee cause kangaroo
Looney Tunes The Day The Earth Blew Up: !!! Looney Tunes on the big screen and out the same day I’m gonna be seeing cold storage?? Please have showings that don’t clash.
Thoughts on films (The Boy And The Heron and Labyrinth under the cut)
After the cinema I went one stop extra on the train to go to the outlet cause I had a birthday code that needed using at the Lindt store (I had till today to use it which was annoying) the. I just came home and flopped.
I did manage to watch the first ep of Seven Dials before tiredness and headache set in. It was really good though it is strange seeing an Agatha Christie adaption after I’ve read the book (with the others I read last year most were Poirot’s that I’d seen the eps of) so it was strange to hear names and go ‘ah! Them!’ There has been a few changes so I am curious what else it’ll do. But so far it seems reallly good.
Also yeaterday the gingerbread Lego AT-AT came, which had been meant to be a Christmas present. I probably would’ve left it a few days but mums friend is coming tomorrow and as it was a joint thing with her and mum I figured I should do it today. It looks nice and it is different. I feel because of how fast it sold out (and stayed that way) that there’ll do another gingerbread Lego thing this year but what I dunno.
This week there’s mums annoying friend coming tomorrow then Friday is Return To Silent Hill (but only if they add a better time I don’t wanna miss the traitors finale) and then I wanna finally watch Seeds Of Doom in the weekend. But we’ll see.
Year long meme
Jan. 14th, 2026 01:55 pmSo as promised/threatened in the last post here’s the first of a few posts intended over the next few days (how much will be done will depend on how distracted I get and the Animal Crossing update is live so…). (And I need to reply to comments on old posts too)
I saw
yarnofaridne post this year long meme which is from
changeling72 here. So here’s me answering the January ones so far.
1. What are you most looking forward to in 2026?
I’m sure I’m missing things but these are the first that come to mind,
Films: Cold Storage, The Mandalorian And Grogu, The Odyssey
Games: Pokémon Pokopia, Hyrule Warriors (it came out last year I know but I’ve not got it yet), Resident Evil
Gigs: 5 Seconds Of Summer, Waterparks (when I order it)
Tv: Seven Dials, Ahsoka (assuming season 2 is out this year)
Also the new Doctor Who Collection (season 21) is coming in a few months. And there’s the standard stuff (free comic book day, Halloween).
2. What are you least looking forward to in 2026?
I’m waiting on hospital appointments for scans which I’m not a fan of. Hopefully it’ll just be a one off thing but the waiting and prospect of being in there all day is stressful.
3. What are your holiday/vacation plans for 2026?
I don’t have any planned and likely won’t have any. I’ve not had a vacation of any kind in so long.
4. Do you believe in reincarnation? If so, will you come back as another person, or another animal entirely?
Ohh interesting question. I’m not sure, maybe? It’s an interesting concept and I think it is possible but I’m not sure about it. I dunno if I’d want to come back as a person (then again would it be a choice?) I’d probably prefer to be some sort of animal.
5. Do you enjoy watching or participating in sport? If so, what sporting event are you most looking forward to in 2026?
Oh no I’m not a sportsball person. I definitely don’t participate, I always hated PE at school. The only time I watch any is when the Olympics and Paralympics is on. Other than that the closest I’m gonna get is Heated Rivalry and I don’t think I’ll learn much about ice hockey.
6. What colour do you think most suits you? Does you partner/family/friends agree?
Purple is my fav colour but it’s not often that there’s much in purple so most of my clothes are black. I wish I had more purple or colourful stuff. One of my fav recent clothing purchases was a stranger things sweater in bright red and that’s nice and cosy and bright.
7. What are your worst and best traits?
I’m not sure what my best are. I try and be caring and kind, I can be creative.
Worst, having bad focus, indecisiveness, shyness, I can get prone to anger or frustration. How I look and sound.
8. Whom do you take after most - your mother or father?
That’s hard to answer since I have no reference for my father.
9. Do you have any siblings? If yes, are you close to them?
I have at least one half brother, but other than that I dunno. Maybe I have a lot more of them but who knows?I sure don’t.
10. Tell us about your earliest memory.
Mum went out to do something and I was left with my grandparents. I, however wanted to go with her. Somehow I got out of the house and was found by someone and taken to the police, but I was told not to talk to strangers and so didn’t say anything. (Obviously I ended up back home but that’s the extent of my memory of it)
11. Whom do you miss the most (for whatever reason they are absent from your life)?
My nan, she was the member of the family I was closest to. It hurt so much that her last years were spent in a care home due to developing Alzheimer's. That’s a fate I don’t wish on anyone, either having it yourself or seeing someone you love suffer from it. I’m glad she’s not suffering anymore but I miss her.
I also miss other people that have left but most of them turned out to be toxic and awful to various degrees. My brain, of course, does fixate on them at times which… sucks.
12. Do you have a passport? If so, when did you last use it and where did you go?
I do but it’s probably out of date. I think the last time I used one for travel was to Cyprus but I could be wrong.
13. If a black cat crosses your path, do you consider it lucky or unlucky?
Lucky! Cats are always good and friends🖤
14. What was the most recent movie you saw at the cinema? Do you recommend it?
Anaconda, thoughts here, but yea would recommend it.
I’ll probably do these in batches (instead of daily) but not this many, but who knows?

In the jungle the mighty jungle
Jan. 13th, 2026 07:31 pmSo there’s gonna be a few posts in coming over the next days, but this is mostly a standalone one.
First things over the last few days since the last update. I’ve had an odd bit of luck because I’ve won two competitions! One was an SFX one on twitter, winning a film called The House With Laughing Windows. I know nothing about this film so did it on a whim (apparently it’s an Italian Giallo film, I’ve only ever saw one of those) so I’m curious! I also won an Anaconda goody bag from the cinema I go to (on insta) so that’s pretty cool! Hopefully both will come soon.
The week has been mostly spent inside, because the weather has been too bad to go out (mum wouldn’t let me go with her to walk Naryu and then a few days she wouldn’t go herself) but thankfully rain has washed the snow away (and not become ice).
Being inside has meant I’ve been mostly Lego building. I got the Lego Creel House and it has been a big project (22 Lego bags, though the last three were for the car and the van). It is an impressive set, it’s got five main rooms (plus an attic) and it has a pretty cool split apart function. I can’t help but wonder if it was designed for season 4 and midway through they were like ‘make everyone in their season 5 fits’. I’ll be taking some more pics tomorrow and posting on insta then so stay tuned.
Also! Heated Rivalry came out Saturday. I only watched the first ep (cause mood and focus was so off this weekend) but it was really good and I see the appeal because some, Shane and Ilya just have instant chemistry and I already wanna see more of them. (I feel I’ll learn nothing about hockey but they sure do like blowing each other)
Today I went to town to see Anaconda. I had hoped to see it last week but the ice and fall stopped that, then I won the comp so I felt I had to (I was gonna try regardless) and it seems this is the last week for it. But first!
I had hoped to get some sale things in town but alas I had no luck. It’s sad that the Primark stranger things section is much reduced (it was two full walls, not there’s just… four tees). I might look on the site and do a click and collect order. Also there are NO stranger things stickers anywhere, not in Smiths, Tesco, the co-op or spar. (Please if anyone spots them let me know I’ve not seen them since getting the album)
So what I was intending to get was… not around. But I did go into a clearance store. I was gonna see if they had a switch game I saw when I looked last time but alas it wasn’t there. What was there was a Lego set, Boba Fett’s throne room that was half price and discontinued about a year ago. So I got it. Mostly cause it included Fennec Shand who’s a total badass. So ooop now I have something else to build
(And a discontinued Animal Crossing set I ordered in the sale came when I was out so I have that too, oop)
I did get some stranger things blind boxes cause that’s all I saw and ahh Steve was in one. My boy!
Before the film there was some trailers and two stood out. I’d seen a Project Hail Mary one before and was kinda curious but this new one Ahs definitely made me wanna see it cause there’s an alien friend! Then there was Cold Storage which I was already sold on (especially cause it has Joe Kerry playing a loser) but I wasn’t sure if we’d get a release, but a few days ago the cinema confirmed it so ahhh! It’s coming out next month and I’m totally seeing it.
Usually I do try and see two films when I go to the cinema but the only ones I was maybe curious about were much too long (and would’ve clashed with Anaconda as a result) so I just saw it. Thoughts under the cut.
Next cinema trips should be Saturday (for The Boy And The Heron and Labyrinth), next z Friday (for Return to Silent Hill), then the following Friday (for something called Another World, with a live q and a with the director which sounds pretty cool).
Now I’m gonna rest, maybe fic and watch Good Ship Murder (so stay tuned for more posts tomorrow oop)
Also! The Animal Crossing update is this week! I’ve not been on my island in forever so I’ll need to find the game again (I did a few weeks back but have forgotten the safe place I put itðŸ˜) I’m excite for the Zelda stuff.

2025 movies!
Jan. 12th, 2026 07:56 pmSo when I was doing my top five cinema films of 2024 I had the issue that I saw… 5 films in 2024 (and one was the rerelease of Episode I). With 2025 I have the opposite problem, because in 2025 I saw 31. I had intended to make my top films but it was so hard to order them. (I was just gonna do a ‘here’s my ten films of last year with no order’ but it was hard to settle on the last few.)
A few days ago I saw
rhoda_rants post about the films they saw last year so here I am doing mine. Note it’s unwieldy (cause 31! But I’m intending to do a small paragraph on each then add two key things: would I rec it and will I watch again. (For more in depth thoughts, look through the film thoughts tag)
(Also I may add a few non cinema films at the end too)
The order of this is simply in the order I saw them.
(And oop this has taken days to do cause my focus has been so offðŸ˜)
Hoo boy that took much longer than expected (I think I started this Friday, or maybe Thursday and it’s Monday now). Hopefully I’m able to see my first films of the year this week but we’ll see!
(Stay tuned for a general post, snowflake catch up and maybe a year long meme thing)
