Spent an hour or so sprawled out on my back in the yard staring at the moon slowly turn red. No need to even bring out the camera, because everyone else took pictures!

Taking one and passing it on

gatcat (by way of redstorm) pointed out to me this incredible video by the band Ramona Falls called "I Say Fever"

Poking around tonight, I found another video by the same director, by the band Menomena (who has the same lead singer, just different musicians) called "Evil Bee"

Definitely spend a few minutes checking them out. The first one has some furry content, and to some extent, the second one does by way of all the animals being anthropomorphized. Also, the music is spectacular if you're into the indie-rock scene.

India is a country of approximately a billion people, 3x the size of the US. The country is relatively modernized, and a majority of its residents speak English and likely have internet access.

Here's a fairly simple question (taken from a discussion with a friend who can identify themselves here if they so choose): How many furry fans do you know of who were born and raised in India?

MacBook for Sale

Hey everyone-

Anyone interested in purchasing a 2008 model 13" 2.0Ghz MacBook Unibody? I've got one for sale. It's tricked out with 4GB of RAM and a 320GB 7200 RPM drive, and is in awesome condition. It's basically the same model as is out now, just without firewire or the SD card slot. I'd like to get $950 for it.

Housekeeping

So I don't post here too often (I'm found more often on Twitter until at some point there's a decent LJ client on the iPhone), but in one of recent friends' posts, I ran across an auto-post from one of the widgets that keeps track of your flist. One nice and likely unintended function of this widget is it will show you people who've changed names.

It was interesting seeing who's removed me from their list over the last year or two since I've checked it. Granted, I've not *quite* abandoned LJ at this point, what I really need to do is seriously trim back my own reading list, which might actually get me back into posting here a bit more regularly (since the sheer volume of material here just crossed over a line of cost/benefit at some point and it was easier to just walk than go through the mostly painful process of who to keep as a 'friend' as defined by this site.)

So am I back? As back as I ever am.

Do I take flist removal personally? I probably shouldn't ;)
