What can I say? I have been busy and have not taken the time to sit down and blog. For any of you who know, I mainly blog for my sister who got rid of her FB. Yes, Bex these post are meant for you. And sometimes mom and pops.
Well I finished my first semester back to college in December and received all A's. I was proud of my hard work and dedication. Now let's hope I can continue that rate these next few semesters! Christmas was great. We had our first Christmas as a married couple. It was quiet the morning of, but we had a great time with his family and my cousin Jacob the night before. We played pin the nose on the reindeer.
We had a great holiday and are excited for this new year. I cannot believe it's already February. We have a lot of adventures planned for this year. Work has been busy and school this semester has been keeping me very occupied. I am taking an English class that is a service learning course. During the semester we are required to give service to a non-profit organization. I had the hardest time finding one to give my time to. Living in Utah, there are few spots open for service because there are so many volunteers here!! I made a post of FB about and had numerous ideas from friends, one who actually started up an organization and has recently become non-profit. I was so thrilled and quickly acted upon contacting her! I will (hopefully) keep you posted on how serving this group goes. It is called the Baby Love Foundation. I am working on a FB page this week and will hopefully have it up and running!
Well it's late and I need to sleep. I hope to post again soon. Enjoy the pictures and feel free to ask about the details of any of them.
Life so far
Maybe some women aren't meant to be tamed. Maybe they are to run free til they find someone just as wild to run with

The First Great Commandment
This past weekend was my church's General Conference. It is held twice a year and there we can hear talks from our leaders via satellite in our homes on the BYU channel and online live. There was a talk given by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland that has stuck with me since Sunday and I wanted to share with everyone his talk. I placed a link below for you to watch and enjoy just as I did.
Holland spoke on the first commandment. Which is "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."
This hit me hard. I love my Heavenly Father and I love Jesus Christ, but am I passionate enough towards them? Do I love Them more than what I own? When I return to Heaven, if Jesus asks me about my life and said "Did you love me?" ..... How will I answer? How will you answer?
I hope I can answer Him saying "Yes. I loved you and I always will."
(To watch this full talk click here. It is only 20 minutes long and worth your time even if you are not Mormon.)
Along with this topic, I challenge myself to be better with showing my love to Jesus Christ. He gave all he had to help me return to my Father in Heaven. Without Him, I would be lost and can not do it alone. It is now my job not only to believe in Him, but follow Him and most importantly, love Him as He loves me.

Change and Progress
Change- to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of(something) different from what it is or from what it wouldbe if left alone:
Progress- a movement toward a goal or to a further or higher stage
We all meet someone in this life that will say "I am how I am and will always be this way so you'll just have to deal with that". If we aren't opened to change how can we progress? If we aren't moving forward, we are not simply standing still, we are going backwards. The point of our existence is to change for the better and progress for the good. How can the Lord expect anything out of us if we don't look towards being the best version of ourselves? This life is seen as a test for each of us, are we simply going through it in a daze and waiting for time to hurry and pass or are we ceasing the day? I hope we can start now and evaluate our life plans. Why am I here? What is my job in this life? Who needs me, and who do I need? How will I strive to be better and help others get to where I am?
This life was never promised to be easy for us. We all have trials and tribulations, the reward in the end will be worth the sweat and tears and determination we give this life. I know the harder we work in this life to be examples of Christ and to not only have faith in Him but put in the work asked of us (James 2:26), the better the life after this will be. And I can't wait for that day.
Have a great week everyone.
