Some of my environment & prop concepts for Rime in the Myst remake!

Rime as it was originally conceived in realMyst always felt somewhat ancillary to the main game, so it was a ton of fun getting to update and redesign these spaces with the team—we really wanted to tie it back in to the overarching narrative of Atrus and the boys, and make it a true epilogue to Myst.

Poster for Anthro Con Weekend 2025: Anchors AWU, Battle of the Barkaneers. The poster feature's the con's mascots in piratical garb: Prryce the cat and Arch the coyote sword fighting in front of a weathered pirate map, and Spike and Carver in the background sailing through the skies as air pirates.ALT

SUPER excited to share the swashbuckling poster I designed for Anthro Weekend Utah, a furry con out in Layton UT, where I’ll be a Guest of Honor this coming weekend!

I haven’t been to a proper furry convention since high school so I’m hyped—might still be a little delirious from SDCC. but HEY we’ll figure it out 😎

It was super fun taking the existing mascots and 1) figuring out how to draw them in my style, as well as 2) designing each of their little air pirate/sea pirate outfits. 🖤☠️🏝️

wormblog asked:

Varwolf is coming to neopets, how do u feel?

Image

Legitimately WILD that this is how I’m finding out this information. Proud, I guess? Surprised?? Very flattered that 2/3 of my April Fools’ jokes from twenty years ago have now been christened into full-blown pets. Holdin’ out for a Lamort. 🤞🏼

This did make me wonder how I would draw a Varwolf nowadays while still sticking to the spirit of my original design, so here ya go:

Redraw of the Varwolf, a neopet design of mine that first debuted during the April Fools' Day 2005, when Neopets posted a wide variety of "potential" future pet designs. The original is a simple red sabre-toothed cat/wolf creature with long fangs and a spotted ruff. The redesign is a similar conceit, but with more streamlined and exaggerated shapes. It now has caracal-esque tufted ears, a wider more lion-esque face, and a thick tail with a wide base.ALT
Redraw of my "Varwolf" neopet design in the four classic neopets colors: red, yellow, blue, and green.ALT
