As an authorised Trade Documentation agent by Singapore Customs, SICCI can issue, endorse and certify trade and shipping documentations at its Trade Documentation Centre – located conveniently in the heart of Singapore’s business district.
The Chamber’s members are levied a concessionary fee while non-SICCI members are required to pay a full fee for the service.

The Chamber is authorized to issue a variety of trade and shipping documentations for both locally-manufactured and re-export goods, as well as for direct shipments from a second or third country.
A Certificate of Origin (CO) is an important international trade document attesting that goods in a particular export shipment have been wholly obtained, produced, manufactured or processed in a particular country. It is also a declaration by the exporter. COs may be requested by Customs administrations, importers, freight forwarders or banks for clearance of Letters of Credit.
The issuance of the COs is an important function of the Chamber in international trade. Most governments and governing agencies regionally and internationally rely on the network of the Chamber in this respect due primarily to its knowledge, expertise and credible track record.

The Chamber provides online application for Certificates of Origin with effect from 1st October 2013. These Electronic Certificates of Origin (ECOs) eliminate travelling time and reduce paperwork, allowing you to enjoy significant savings in time and cost. You can print the certified CO directly at your office.

The Chamber provides online application for Digital Endorsement of Invoice, Packing List and Health Certificate. You can print the approved Digital Documents on your letterhead directly at your office.
All documents are issued in a set of four copies.

The Trade Documentation Division also processes Inward and Outward Permits (also known as Cargo Clearance Permit) using Trade Net. This is an electronic data interchange network which enables documents to be transmitted electronically to government authorities for approval.

FREE TRADE AGREEMENT (FTA) CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN VIA TRADENET
The Chamber provides the application for FTA Certificate of Origin with effect from 15 May 2017. FTA is making your Export Cheaper by eliminating import duties. FTA is giving easier entry into each other’s market and can allow for increased in export quotas. FTA ensure business stability. Countries have the right to increase/reduce import duties. Such decisions can severely affect long-term exports into these markets. FTA preferential rates are legal binding, and countries must abide by the concessions offered and this ensures stability for exporters in the long run.
