She doesn’t ask questions about why she's in prison (murder, larceny, kidnapping, she gets it. She’s a bad egg). Nor does she ask about where this is—she’s investigated enough to work out that it’s a prison, and no sane prisoner wants to appear ignorant.
Maybe her life was always meant to boil down to this. It’s not like she had ever believed the pretty promises of a life outside Gotham anyway. True to expectations, this life was not pretty.]
