Behind the Blog
Hi, I’m Kierste Wade
With more than 20 years of experience, I’ve been sharing ideas for home and family since 2009. I’m a published author, have a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business, and worked with many brands including Better Homes & Gardens, Delta Faucet, American Farmhouse, Walmart, and HP.
We recently moved from Old Salt Farm, our farmhouse in upstate NY, to North Carolina, where we are building our new home, Cottage on Blackberry Hill. DIY and home decor projects are on repeat, always working on a budget to create a beautiful and functional space for our family of 8. Simplicity and a cottage farmhouse aesthetic are what I love best, and I may or may not be obsessed with all things gingham!
