About Sin21 Designs

Meet Carol

Hi there! My name is Carol, and I, along with my sister, have been the full-time caregivers to our mother for the past five years. I am an avid lover of romance books. I’m a passionate fan of hockey and the Carolina Hurricanes. I’ve been watching professional wrestling since I was four years old and still to this day watch a number of promotions.

I’ve been creating graphics of all varieties since as early as 2002 and have a minimum of 20 years of self-taught coding and website management experience under my belt. My interest in managing websites and designing them began in my teens when I created what were known as “fansites” dedicated to my favorite celebrities. This gave me a plethora of experience with website hosts, purchasing domains, and maintaining website content, photo galleries, and the scripts needed to run them.

I specialize in working on websites running on the WordPress content management script and pride myself on creating beautiful and clean designs that are responsive on all devices for my clients. I am also familiar with managing and posting on the most popular social media platforms.

The history of Sin21 Designs

Sin21 Designs has been one of the most notable designers within the online fansite community since 2005. Up until 2009, you would have found us designing under the name “Dirrty Laundry Designs,” which we later outgrew. Most are no longer aware that Sin21 Designs began as a combined effort of two designers and has been a joint project since the very beginning, as far back as 2002. What also made them stand out among the crowd was that Sin21 Designs was the brainchild of two real-life sisters named Angela and Carol. What began as a mutual love for graphics and a side hustle naturally evolved into coding and web design as they matured. Through the years, both sisters found their attention diverted to other hobbies and interests. Since then, Carol has taken over the role of designer for Sin21 with the support of her sister Angela and continues her passion for web design. And while they no longer design as the unique dynamic duo they once were, they remain a supportive team for one another.
