Hey Family!
It´s over, I come home this week. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I will be so happy to see you all again and give you all huge hugs!!! I can´t wait to see you. I really can´t. I feel like admitting that means I'm a bad missionary or something. I hate it when everyone acts like it's the end of the world to go home. I think it´s great. I'
ve been in
Spain for a year and a half. I'
ve learned a lot. especially about myself. I appreciate the gospel more and I have a deeper understanding of the plan of salvation. I LOVE the plan of Salvation! I love testifying of
Christ and think I will really miss that. I will miss the authority of my calling and feeling the spirit so constantly, and I have loved learning from the Book of
Mormon. The pages have opened up and become so exciting. I'
ve met a lot of great people, made some eternal friends. I'
ve had trials and seen miracles and I'm ready to come home. Thank you for all of your support and prayers and love during this time. I am
grateful for the opportunity to grow closer to you through letters. You really are the best family in the world. What a great blessing you all are to me. I love you all very much!!!
Well, missionary work goes on as usual. We have been teaching
Antonio. He is progressing very well, he told us he thinks everything we have been telling him is true. We brought up baptism and it freaked him out a little. He is really afraid of changing religions, but we asked him if he was willing to if it was what God wanted and he said yes. So that´s pretty good right? I think he will get baptized soon. It has been such a huge adventure teaching him. He is a really strange guy, but i like him. He is a
Gypsy so he has a different personality than other
Spaniards. He is also an Evangelist which makes it even more fun. I don't think I can explain that in an email. I´ll have to tell you more about that when I come home. I was ticked yesterday though. Antonio came to church and when he was in the parking lot a lady said to her husband, "you better lock your doors, there are people here who will take your things." She was
referring to Antonio, because he´s a
Gypsy. I was so mad at her. Here is poor Antonio, who is fighting to know if the church is true, coming against the will of his church and some of his family and then,
isn't even accepted in the one place he should feel the most at peace and like he belongs....but, he said he´s used to it. People really don´t like gypsies here. There is some racism here, a lot against
Africans and some against South
Americans. It´s not terrible, but you can
still see it sometimes.
Enrique got the priesthood yesterday! We were so happy! He also got a calling as the secretary of the Young Men. They are progressing so well in the church. I just love them.
Well, Im sorry I haven't written much. Mom, I
didn't get your email so if there is anything important you needed or anything, you can just email H
ermana M
ellor and she can tell me. That will work. Or email me again, I could always check again later on today. We will be talking again really soon. I seriously can´t wait to give you your presents. I hope you like them. I think you will.
Well, have a great week!!!! Oh wait, have a great couple days, I´LL SEE YOU SOON!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!
