The Contemplative Nuthatch
Nuthatches are known to wander widely in search of food during the winter months, and prefer the ever-present prickly goodness of a conifer to the ambivalence of deciduous trees. This blog serves as a sounding board for ideas and thoughts that occur while foraging about Sapsucker Woods in central NY. Recently, I have set up shop with a svelte female nuthatch on the edge of town, enlarging my contemplative scope from Sapsucker Woods to include the low country along Six Mile Creek.

this is a silly blog. How come no nudity?
