June 2009, Bay House weekend

Dane has had hilarious alfalfas the past few days. Here's an example, albeit a bit blurry.
Tubing is one of the favorite past times at the Bay House each summer. Kinlea (8), Cherise and Dane (21 mos.), and Dalin (10) enjoyed this ride.

Darren captained the boat and was a great sport about taking several trips out and around the bay, so we could all get nice and "crispy" in the 98+ weather.

Karianne's Piano Recital "Colors of the Wind"

Karianne was told to put Dane in his bed, but she couldn't stand to see him cry and crawled in with him and rubbed his tummy until he fell asleep, or should I say "they" fell asleep! She'll be a great mommy someday!

Mia absolutely loves her Hippo, Soki! She bought it at the mall shortly after Christmas with her own money and won't sleep without her! She loves her webkinz!

Dane absolutely loves to be outside. It had just gotten warm enough to go outside, so we went on the trampoline and he had a blast pushing the excercise ball around. Mommy, loved it to, because I didn't have to worry about him falling and getting hurt since the enclosure keeps him safe and sound!! Good times!

Dane loves to give Mia and Brock loves when they are leaving for school! He loves them just as much as they love him, which is a ton! We love to wake them up with Dane crawling on them and kissing them and hugging them. Is there a better way to wake up? I don't think so. :)

Brock's scars on 2/5/09

Here's a pic of Brock showing you his scars. They look so much better than they used to. Daddy is rubbing wheat germ oil and using an erchonia laser to help regenerate the skin cells. We are so grateful he didn't need the skin graphs.

This photo cracks me up. He is trying to wash his own hair. He was moving so fast, it took me several tries to get a good shot.

Brock on Thursday, Nov. 6th

His burns are healing very well. We are hoping he can handle the pain until 1 pm (the first 2 hrs after the dressing change are usually the most painful for him). If so, they should release him tonight. We appreciate everyone's prayers!

Dane played piano and loved it!

This photo of Dane is so sweet to me because you can see his eyelashes if you look real close and I love his nose and kissable cheeks! This photo was taken August 4, 2008. One day after his 10 month birthday!

This is the first time Dane played the piano. I was holding him and walked by the piano and his face just lit up. I thought he was old enough to discover the noise and now I'm sure he'll make lots of sweet music for a long time to come!! Mia is quite the piano afficionado as well. Karianne has taken lessons for a couple of years, however, we are about to switch teachers and try to get her to take it more seriously. So, pretty soon I'll put some videos of her playing.

I love this photo of Karianne, Brock and Mia. They love the beach so much and really love their Granny and Grandpa Foster for taking them there!!
Dane was about to get his diaper changed when he was snatched up and included in this photo! You can see how much they love him on their faces!
We had a great time at this Marriott. We got the suite with a seperate bedroom and living room. It was great because we could look at the ocean and then still put Dane to sleep in the room! Party Time!!

Dane discovered how much of a mess he can make splashing the water around in his bathtub his Uncle David and Auntie Lisa gave him!! He also tried to eat the bathtub even though he had just eaten a whole container of organic sweet peas and organic sweet potatoes! He's definitely a growing boy!

Blue Bonnett Festival

Last weekend we spent Saturday soaking in some rays and playing in the private 160 acre lake nearby. We went with our cousins and had a great time! Dane finally got to wear his beachwear. He loved it!

Daddy, Mommy and Me!

We drove 45 minutes to a small town Blue Bonnet festival last weekend. Here is one of the photos! We were suppose to spend the day working on our taxes, but the 70 degree weather was calling our name. It's also been a family tradition the last three years to go to the festival and take some small back roads that lead us to our favorite country scenes. We appeared to be a couple weeks too late to catch them in all their glory, but we still managed to get some photo ops before they all disappeared!

Spring Break

My friend, Jennifer and I, took all our 7 kids up to Brenham to visit the Blue Bell Creamery. It was a bit chaotic, but as always, an adventure. We stopped by the side of the road to take these photos of the beautiful blue bonnets!
We tried to get Dane to look up, but he was fascinated with all the flowers and grass!

Family Easter Photo

Dane is 6 months old!

Although, he isn't smiling in this photo, I still wanted you to see how big he is compared to his teddy bear.
Daddy managed to get him to finally smile!
Two days before his 6 month birthday, he held a bottle for the first time. By the way, this photo is actually the first time I have ever given him a bottle to hold. Not bad on the first try, huh?
