On Sunday, February 15, you can step back into late 19th and early 20th-century Ocean Park. The Third Street Neighborhood Historic District, designated July 1, 1990, features 38 buildings constructed between 1875 and 1930. Originally farmland, developer W.D. Vawter converted the area to housing tracts and attracted entrepreneurs like Abbot Kinney, who renamed South Santa Monica "Ocean Park."
Meet at the Shotgun House at 11:45 a.m. for a noon departure.
