Help needed with Creative Video Blaster WebCam Go Plus

I'm tried setting up my webcam with the software that came bundled with it, and then updated it from the Creative Labs support centre (it's now running Monitor v 2.01.02), but I'm still not entirely happy - is there a way I can have the Monitor program run in the background? I see there's a "TrayMon.exe" program in "C:\Program Files\Creative\WebCam Monitor", but I can't get it to do anything - should it?
