I'm joining this community in hopes of getting help to track down a recovery disc.
When I started grad school, my fiance's sister gave me her old laptop. It is a Hewlett-Packard Pavilion N3150. The OS is Win98 SE. Lately, its been giving me lots of problems, to the point where I should really just reinstall the OS.
The problem is, no one has the recovery disk. They had it at one point in time, but between moving, and trading computer parts and software with friends, it got lost in the shuffle.
I've checked Hewlett-Packard's webpage, and apparantly they don't supply the recovery disc anymore. If anyone has suggestions as to where I can turn next, please let me know! The back-up option we have is to just use Win-98 SE discs, and download the drivers, but I dont want to do that until I've exhausted all other options.
