Backtagging: Totally okay! But sometimes I can be really forgetful, so if I've dropped a thread you really want me to continue, don't be afraid to PM me so I can get back on it!

Threadhopping: Go for it!

Fourthwalling: Also A-O-K!

Hugging/Kissing/TouchyTouch: Gregor is VERY friendly~ He won't say no to a good cuddle or too, and all the intimate stuff. Get as close to you as you want, he won't say no anytime soon.

Fighting/Injuring/Killing: Gregor is a mercenary, so fighting is all part of the job. But I'd like to discuss Killing when need be.

Using telepathy/mind reading: No problems here!

Character History:
Gregor’s childhood is a tragic one, though Gregor himself wouldn’t call it that. His father was a very strict man, often making exaggerated punishments for the smallest of things. It was because of one of these punishments that Gregor became afraid of heights – his father forced him to stay in a tree for three days straight, just because he’d been “a very bad boy”. As soon as he was able, he and his brother left home in order to pursue the more important matters in life – money, and the fun of a good fight. They traveled across the land with no real goals in sight, as they were content to survive alongside each other. But even this happiness did not last for long.

During an encounter with bandits, Gregor’s brother was kidnapped. Gregor did his best to save his sibling, but there were too many bandits, and as a result, his brother was killed. Gregor would feel haunted by this death for most of his life, blaming himself for being weak and thinking his brother hated him with his final breath. In honor of his brother, Gregor abandoned his name, and took up his brother’s – Gregor! No one knows what his real name ever was, and even in endgame, he never reveals it. It’s the only thing he has left to remember his beloved brother by.

Now on his own, Gregor continued his travels, with an extra sense of morality imbued in him. He took on whatever jobs he could, but nothing that would result in the harm of innocents. He also took on fights for the sheer fun of it. In Ferox, there is a tournament held that decides the ruler every year. Gregor participated just for the thrill of it, and wound up losing. He had no plans to actually become a ruler, and he was happy to learn more effective fighting skills.

During one job, he and a bunch of other mercenaries headed to Wyvern Valley to capture Wyverns – dragon-like creatures. But when Gregor discovered the other mercenaries were killing the adults to steal the babies, he couldn’t allow the travesty to go on. He defeated the other mercenaries, and made sure the other Wyverns were safe from harm. This incident made him a bit of an outcast, and it became difficult to find more jobs. Yet he refused to tune down his sense of justice, knowing he couldn’t live with himself if he allowed innocent blood to be spilled. It was in fact because of this that he received a permanent job in Chrom’s army.

During his travels, he saw a group of slavers trying to capture a little girl, hoping to sell her. He chased after the group – but the girl assumed he was one of the slavers, as did Prince Chrom and his army. Thankfully, beating the snot out of the slavers helped convince them otherwise. Chrom saw the potential and strength of Gregor, and offered him a position in the army. Gregor was intrigued by both the money and the opportunities that would come by serving royalty. He decided to join in, and became a valuable member of the team. He helped train the less experienced, and offered friendship and wisdom to his fellow fighters.

Abilities/Special Powers:
Gregor is a normal mortal! He has strength and speed above the average person, but that’s only because he trains so hard. Also, he speaks in broken English.
Third-Person Sample:
It hadn’t been Gregor’s idea to throw this last minute celebration, but he embraced it as if it had been. And why shouldn’t they be happy? That last battle had been exhausting, but the army pulled through without a single loss of life. If that wasn’t a reason to party, nothing was. Gregor grabbed a mug of mead for himself, after making sure the circle around him had their share. Little Ricken was trying to get Chrom’s attention, and Virion was flirting with every woman in sight – and… Miriel was reading. Really, now? Of all times? He sighed with a smile, and after finishing the top off of his drink, he headed straight for the intelligent mage.

“Miriel’s nose will be stuck in book at this rate.” He announced, throwing his free arm around her shoulders. “Come, get up and drink! You are deserving it!” And he should know – he had been watching over his soldiers like a hawk. The idea was to aide anyone who needed it, but instead he was able to watch an impressive battle unfold. Miriel herself had blowing away several Pegasus warriors with her wind spells, and Gregor couldn’t be more impressed. Miriel herself was either ignoring him or too absorbed in her reading to take notice of the praise. Gregor clicked his tongue to the top of his mouth. “Gregor worries that for all of Miriel’s smarts, she is not knowing what fun is.”

Speaking of people who seriously needed to be beaten with the fun stick, there were faint footsteps coming up from behind Gregor. He took notice of the shadows formed by the fire, and easily guessed who was coming in for the sneak attack. LonQu was determined to defeat Gregor at all costs, even now. Gregor rolled his eyes. He’d have to teach the boy better stealth techniques in the morning. “Oi, oi… we fight in the day. We relax at night. Have a drink!” He then lurched backward, slamming his half-empty mug into LonQu’s face. The attacking soldier sputtered, falling over as mead spilled over his face. Gregor then sat up straight, smoothing down his robes like nothing had happened. “Footsteps are like hoofbeats… and LonQu must notice the light. If he cannot defeat drunk Gregor, he has no hopes of defeating sober Gregor.”

On the bright side, Miriel was finally looking up from her novel. Gregor grinned at his victory, leaning over towards her. “Much better! We share book later. Now, we share good times!”

Since magic closets provide Wonderland with anything, money is useless, yes? Mercenary is rather useless too, without money. But Gregor still wishes to teach those who want teaching. So Gregor has an idea! Favors! If Gregor’s teachings become useful to student, student will perform favor for Gregor.

What favors are… Gregor has not decided yet. But something for nothing is not the way anything works. You keep your deals, and Gregor keeps his own. Now, who’s ready for first lesson?
