It seems the girls have taken over my bed plush, since my whole main crew for the past few weeks consists of Meadow (not pictured, my lovely handmade vintage doe), Queen Molly and Her Majesty Promise.

LOVED IT

I spent my last few weeks busy at rally events and dog shows. I can't believe I'm back suddenly in the dog showing and handling world! Don't expect to see me too much, if at all, online after my puppy arrives!

Katie and I will be taking our chows to every show we can get to. I want to have him obedience and rally ready for competition, and I also plan on having him pass Good Citizens (hard for a chow I know!). My main goal after all my training is through is to have a dog who can do anything, and behave well enough to go anywhere.

Last week I decided to make my own cleaning solution to use specifically on Scar's white sections of fur. It took quite awhile (maybe a bit over an hour with a toothbrush) but his spots came out great! He looks very bright and perky now. ^_^ I also used one of the non-heated force driers to give him a fluffing, and then a thorough brushing followed by another combing with a teflon coated comb. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures this time around.

The next deer I need to "groom" will be Trystan, he's gotten a bit gray from frequent cuddles and handling.

I'm still hoping to have professional photographs taken of all my sweet loverdeers, and when that time comes everyone must look their best!

The run rising over the very spot my Pugsley is buried. It's a lovely place, isn't? I go there often in my mind, this new year's been especially sad for me, missing my little guy....




Could there be a more fitting song for the end of my dog's life?



Here's hoping for a dog in the near future for me, maybe then I won't hurt so much anymore, and get my mind off of what's gone.

I absolutely could not resist buying this precious little Cuddle Wit deer for myself. Yes, he's got adorable fawn spots on his back. I don't get too many new plushes these days, I'm so excited to meet a new deer!

Three years ago I took this photo, the day I got my best friend and my whole life changed. I love him more every single day I spend with him.



I don't know what I'd do without Scar, my dearest deer, or the wonderful friend who gave him to me in the first place. Thank you Rabs <3 <3
