Summer Fun!

We are having a very busy summer...but as you can see Aiden is having a blast! We visited both sides of the family in June and are taking it easy in July...preparing for the arrival of baby brother! Aiden is very excited. He can't wait to show him how to play with everything. :) Enjoy the pictures!

A Pilot in Training...

I had to post this picture. It was just too cute! One morning at school, Aiden was hanging out in my classroom and found the headphones. He put them on and said, "Look at me! I am flying an airplane." It was hilarious! He comes up with the funniest things to say these days. He is one smart cookie...not sure where he inherited that from. ;)

Valentines

Here's our little Valentine! We had a pretty uneventful weekend, due to me being sick. So our Valentine plans have been postponed. We did get to bake heart cupcakes together and decorate them. Aiden loved it! He made sure to tell us that all the ones that he decorated were his only. We still are waiting to tell him about being a big brother...that was our grandioso plan this past weekend, but it will happen soon enough. I hope to post more pics soon. Things have been a little busy and for sure tiring!!!

Holiday Festivities

We are busy these days! It's hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. Aiden is completely mesmorized by all the decorations. He thinks we should have so much more! His latest thing is to go out in the front yard and say, "Hey, Mommy...can I sit on Santa's lap?" We have a blow up Santa out front. It is the funniest thing ever for him to ask that on a daily basis. He keeps asking when Santa will be here and what presents he will bring. He wants to open the ones under the tree, but is being very patient! Here are just a few pics from the holiday season so far. Enjoy!

The Fun Begins...

Time sure is flying by, but we are having so much fun. Aiden amazes us each day with his new tricks, sentences, funny sayings, and so much more. He makes us laugh constantly. His newest thing is to play his guitar with Smitty from Imagination Movers...he plays and sings along! It is hilarious.

He is definitely turning in to a big boy. We just about have the potty training down...he even makes it through nap without an accident! We are so proud of him. His newest thing is to tell his Mom and Dad that he is the funny one in the house. :) (qoute-unquote)

2nd Birthday

Aiden is 2! He had a construction themed birthday party and had a blast. We had a few friends and family over to celebrate. We even had a pinata! The kiddos had so much fun playing outside, eating cake, and wearing their construction hats.

It's hard to believe that another year has gone by. Aiden is definitely growing up...not a baby anymore! He continues to make us laugh everyday with all of his new ideas, adventures, etc...

Too Much Going On...

We have been crazy busy...hence the neglecting of the blog! Aiden is going to be 2 is just a few weeks. It is hard to believe how fast this year has gone by. He is 100% boy!

We are enjoying our summer...swimming, storytime at the library, picnics in the park, play dates, and much more! We will keep you posted on all of our adventures.

Aiden is a talker...we don't know who he gets that from. He is speaking both languages at home and amazes us each day what new things he grasps...we think he is one smart cookie! (But we're his parents, so we can say that!)
