What is the procedure to back up a trans log? Or archive a bunch of it. I set up logging and notice the log is at 3 gigs and we just don't need data from long ago.
I just don't have much experience with this.
Oh, I have it set with 3000 meg allocated space, is it keeping it under that? I also I have auto grow file checked and by percent 10%, unrestricted growth. I know one time a production database bombed out because of logging issues and obviously I want to prvent that but still have log available for emergancies.
