We blessed Adrianne this past Sunday and it was really nice. Here are a few pictures of her in her blessing dress and in general. We sure love having her in our family. She is truly a blessing.

Our beautiful princess Adrianne...
Adrianne Lambert

So sweet!
I love when she's awake and I can see those cute little eyes.
Asleep in her bed
Just hanging out
Her cute ladybug clothes

I have been totally behind in posting on the blog. I'm sure there are things that happened that I should put on here, but until I think of them, I'll focus on the one big thing that's happened. Our cute little girl, Adrianne, was born on April 24, 2009. She was born at 10:45 am, weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. We are so blessed to have her and she is such a good baby. She looks a lot like Anthony and Julia looked when they were babies, which means she looks like Shawn. We have all been enjoying her a lot. Julia loves being a big sister and helping with everything -- sometimes too much. Collin loves to hold his sister and rock her. Anthony always is saying: "I want to hold my baby." At which point he proceeds to try and take her from whoever has her. But he has been really sweet and sings her "rock a bye baby."
Shawn and I are so blessed to be able to have our four children and we love them so much. Adrianne is a perfect addition to our family.

Draper Temple Open House
Last Saturday we took the kids to the Draper Temple Open House. It was great. Anthony was even pretty good -- all things considered. But there was one really funny thing he did. When we got there, they gave us a brochure with a few pictures in it. We gave it to Anthony so that he would have something to look at.
Well, when we got to the baptismal font, he was all excited. We couldn't get him to keep walking. He was looking through the brochure. Then he suddenly stopped. He looked at the picture he found, and then he looked at the font, and then he looked at the picture again. Then he turned to me and Shawn and said "Look, it matches." Sure enough, he had found the picture of the baptismal font and thought it was way cool that he was looking at the actual thing.

Christmas!!!
We had a really great Christmas this year. Shawn took a few days off work and we spent a lot of time with family. It was great and relaxing. Here are a few pictures of things we did during the holidays. The first picture is at the Daw family christmas party. Anthony was a shepherd, Julia was Mary, and Collin was a wise man. Aren't they cute?
Here are the kids on Christmas morning after they'd opened their presents. They finally decided that they were hungry -- presents first, breakfast second. You have to keep your priorities straight on Christmas.
The Daw family has a tradition of going to Benihana every Christmas. (And believe it or not, we started this tradition before Marcus married Yukie, who is from Japan.) This year we went on New Years Eve. It was a lot of fun, and of course, the food was spectacular. If you've never been, I highly recommend it.

It's a Girl!!!
We found out today that we are having a girl!!! Julia was thrilled. She's been praying for a sister for over a year. Two boys and two girls. That sounds about perfect.

Halloween
I know this is posted way late, but I haven't gotten the pictures off my camera for a long time. We had a really fun Halloween this year. We carved pumpkins a few days before, and like always, the kids thought it was great. Here's the three of them with their pumpkins.

Anthony was a bat this year. And I just want to point out that this is the same bat costume I wore when I was his size. Can you believe it? My mom made such good costumes that they've lasted a long time. He was pretty funny about it. He ran around flapping his wings. That was...until Shawn painted his face like a "vampire bat" (as you can see in the next picture), and then he ran around hissing and saying he was a vampire. That was cute, too. Leave it to daddy to make Anthony want to be a monster.

Air Musem and Dinosaur Park
We went to the Hill Air Museum (for the guys) and the Ogden-Eccles Dinosaur Park (for the kids) with the Clarks over UEA weekend. It was a lot of fun, but we were tired by the end of the day. Here are some pictures...
