Nicole turned 8 in February and was quite thrilled about it all as you can see below. On March 2 she was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a wonderful day with both sets of grandparents here and a special surprise, her cousin Ava! She flew here with Granny Jo all the way from Utah!! Nicole had many local friends and family who attended as well, and the Weinberger's who I guess are local compared to Utah :) We are so grateful for the support we receive from so many friends and family members.
We went to the Zoo with Granny Jo, Grandpa, Ava, and Uncle Chris. It was really fun day!
After the baptism, Tyler and I got to fly back with my parents and stay in Utah for a week. We had so much fun hanging out with Granny Jo, Grandpa, Kelly, Hayden, Carson, and of course little HANSON (only 5 weeks old). He was our main reason for going and what a great reason. I could have just sat and rocked him all week long! We even had two very warm days while there. Always a bonus when visiting Utah anywhere close to winter!
Tyler learned a new word from Carson while we were there. Excavator. This one was working right across the street from Kelly's house so the boys had fun watching it.
Right before we flew back to Oregon. We had a great time but it was also good to head back to the other half of our family!
City Creek Mall in Salt Lake City on the way to the airport.
We also got Aunt Leone to come down from Salt Lake and visit us one day.
Tyler loved the cars and trucks at my parents house. He would wake up every morning and immediately go and find the monster truck, the tractor, or these cars that you shake up and they go.
