SERN is a non-profit association with the primary objective of fostering regional collaboration by overseeing EU-funded projects centred around innovation, sustainable development, youth engagement, and the transition to a greener and more digital-oriented society.
Our mission
Provide an interconnected platform that facilitates collaboration among regional authorities, innovation and development agencies, universities, and dedicated associations to foster social and economic innovation in line with European Union policy priorities. We support our members by offering services for EU proposals writing and project management, as well as by creating the conditions for stakeholders’ engagement and community activation.

Our Vision
The European Union is in the position to lead and foster the necessary innovations to respond to the 21st century social, environmental, and economic ‘Grand Challenges’ such as climate change, green & digital transitions, demographic change and inclusive societies. SERN aims to be the driver of a network engaged in contributing to tackling these challenges and that is committed to putting the European Union at the forefront of global positive change.
