okay the dreamteam is dead

after a series of unfortunate events— maybe some planets with populations going into the billions got exploded, maybe some giant weapon planet who exploded those planets got exploded, who knows— an exceedingly high profile, high stakes series of negotiations are being held. it also happened to fall on the same weekend as the annual fundraising gala so we probably just combined both of them to save time.
everything is going to go smoothly. absolutely nothing is going to get crashed into the building, no one is going to get assassinated, the macaroni art budget will stay completely intact. it'll be a good time.
