Webmail : Attachment Opening Issue

Issue: We are aware of an issue where some users are unable to open email attachments from the Webmail interface. Only a limited number of customers are affected. Our back end team is working to resolve it as soon as possible.

Root Cause: Browser caching conflict in the webmail interface.

Workaround / Fix: Clearing the browsers cookies and cache resolves the issue.

Steps to Clear Cookies and Cache

Chrome / Edge (Chromium-based browsers):
Open the browser.
Click the three dots (top-right).
Go to Settings : Privacy and Security.
Select Clear browsing data. Select all time or last 4 weeks.
Choose Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Click Clear data.
Close and reopen the browser, then log back into Webmail.

Firefox:
Click the menu button (three lines).
Go to Settings : Privacy & Security.
Select all time or last 4 weeks.
Scroll to Cookies and Site Data.
Click Clear Data.
Select Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content.
Click Clear, then restart the browser.

Logout from your email account and login again to test.

Important Note:
Webmail access, email delivery, sending, and receiving are not impacted.
Only the attachment opening function is affected for a subset of users.
