Intermittent periods of duration loss of Real Time (RT) Satellite data will occur during the entire maintenance period. Standard Satellite data, Terrestrial data, and Dynamic data are unaffected by this process.
All account types will remain accessible and operational during this maintenance process.
All reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent additional data loss and minimize the impact to Maritime Data Platform services.

As Kpler continues migrating from Spire Global to Kpler infrastructure, we are updating the configuration for all Spire Maritime products. An email communication had been previously sent out and we are providing this information again on this status page.
Please check the list below carefully for the updated DNS actions required to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted connection to our products and data services.
On 27th Feb 2026, Spire Maritime DNS names will be decommissioned and you will only be able to connect using the corresponding Kpler hostnames listed in the table below.

While the maintenance process is underway, the GWS platform should remain online and responsive throughout as the maintenance process should be transparent to all users. However, the possibility does exist that users may experience interruptions in service and potential data loss while accessing the Latest Vessel Information (LVI), Historical Vessel Positions (HVP) and Historical Vessel Tracks (HVT) layers. This includes ShipView Live and Historical data.
All account types will remain accessible and operational during this maintenance process.
