Kate & Sam Part 2

Sometimes, I get a little deja vu...

The set ups are more thought out with the first batch and I used my nicer camera more back then, but the sibling match up is the same. Almost.

Graham Cracker Gingerbread Houses

Barely any collapsed houses and no tears this year.
Which really equals a success.
I think we are getting the hang of this tradition.

I think this is one of our favorite Christmas traditions.

Family Picture Outakes

With our family, if you plan pictures, it never happens or they end up looking super awkward.
We needed a picture of our kids for the Christmas card, so after church one Sunday, I told the kids, as soon as we walk through the door you just go straight to the tree and we will take a few pics.
These are some of them. The best one was taken like three frames into the shoot and then it just went downhill from there. Millie was being a real ham and we ended up going with the last one I posted here, even though we were tempted to do the one where Millie is standing like a super hero. Never a dull moment.

Thanksgiving Twenty-Sixteen

We had Thanksgiving over at our friend's house the Steele's, this year. As it turns out, we all had a Chicago connection with each other. Dinner was nice and so was the company. Thanks Steele's for having us over!

The Pardi's were in town for Thanksgiving, so we had to show them some cool parts of KC ;) so, the next night we went to the Crown Center tree lighting.

My little snuggle bear Ben.

Those were the Thanksgiving 2016 highlights!

Pre-Thanksgiving

We were able to see the Hill's two times this year on our turf. So far they have come out to the Midwest for three Pre-Thanksgivings in a row. They are pretty awesome and there was no begging involved, each time my sister would call and say we are thinking about coming out there and that was that. We had fun exploring, eating and hanging out with them. It's always a nice time.

Besides just playing and having cousin time at home we explored a few places:

Kaw Point
A nice view of the city and has some Lewis and Clark history.
I had two sleeping babies in the car so I didn't get to see the Lewis and Clark monument. I would definitely come back and check it out again when it's warmer.

We made the hour and a half drive north to check out this piece of church history.

Anyone that comes to KC and has kids, should come here.

3 Months Old and Other Pictures

Image

Image

Ben is smiling, but mostly his Mom is the only one that can get him to smile.
He likes to be held all of the time.
Has only had a handful of Brady's.
Can sleep for hours cuddled up next to me when I wear the baby carrier.
Is a real champ at tummy time.
I used to the chaos that his siblings bring.

The following are pictures that span from when we brought him home (October 4th) to when he turned 3 months old.

Image
What it looked like the first month and a half of having Ben home. He was sent home with a monitor to track his dips in his heart rate and for the most part, had to be attached to this monitor I'm carrying, around the clock.

Image
Excitement to have this boy home was an understatement.

Image
Such a little guy, but by the time he came home, he was 7lbs.

Image
Sisters, just getting in there.

 Another toy measurement.

Image
Ben got a wagon as a gift from Ryan's work and I thought it would make such a cute picture all curled up in it. But, I didn't take into account that he wasn't very tiny anymore and was actually way larger than the wagon. I had to document the modedness though.

Tuckered out from his traumatic wagon ride.

Millie and all of her favorite things.

He is growing up fast and we are adjusting to life with four.
It's crazy but we are in love with the crew we have.
