Simply joyful!
I have to say Christmas is so much more fun with kids. Especially this year because Jaden is getting older and is very curious as to why we celebrate all these holidays. He asks millions of questions until my head is spinning and Im exhausted from repeating myself, but the pure joy I see in his eyes is so heart warming. He kept begging me to put up our tree and I finally caved and you would have thought that he had just won the lotto. He had a great time decorating and helping me put up all the lights on the tree. Every ornament we pulled out was like a new gift for him. The next day I found him sitting by the tree admiring its beauty. He said to me "mom, isnt this tree the most beautiful tree you ever saw?" I couldnt help but smile as I watched him continually make his way back to the tree several times throughout that day. I love Christmas time and am so grateful to share this joy with my kids. I'm thankful for the opportunity I have to teach them the meaning behind all of these holidays that we do celebrate. Especially Christmas.
Knotts!
Recently we went to Knotts Berry Farm with some friends. We got there pretty late but still had a great time. We ate at the famous chicken restaurant which was delicious and made it on several rides. We had a fun time walking around admiring all the Christmas decorations. We promised Jaden we would go back again soon because by the time it was time to go, he was just getting warmed up on all the rides. Fun times!

My baby sister!
My little sister Rachel turned 8 on October 16 and was baptized November 1. We were so grateful to share this experience with her. She is such a sweet and beautiful little girl. She is very smart and mature. Thats probably from being raised with all adults. Rachel and I are 21 years apart. She is more like my daughter then my sister but I am grateful for her and all that she teaches me. Especially as she always finds the positive in every situation. She was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 3 and suffers from that disease daily. We never hear her complain about all that she has been through and deals with. She keeps her head up high and presses forward. She truely is an inspiration and one of Heavenly Fathers choice spirits. We love you Rachie!

Finally walking!
So, Tyler is finally walking and it's nothing short of a miracle. Haha! Seriously we were starting to wonder if we would still be carrying him at 18. I mean he is getting ridiculously heavy and we needed him to start walking. Be careful what you wish for. Now we can't stop him!! Supposedly they have done studies that the longer kids take to walk the more agile they are and the better chance they have at being an athlete. Why??? I don't know. Sounds like a bunch of bull to me, but hey I'll take it. :) So here is our little walker boy in action. By the way, this was awhile ago, but like I said I'm on the late train again with these postings.
Best Friends!!
These two sweet boys have such a strong bond. I'm assuming its because they lived together as babies and are only 3 months apart. Yes, they fight like brothers sometimes but deep down they have such a love for each other. It was like someone ripped Jadens heart out when Mason left this last time and he has asked every day since when Mason is coming back. I have to say I feel the same way. Mason is my third son after all. :)
Halloween!
The boys had a great time Trick or Treating this year. Everything becomes more fun as they get older. They kept begging to go to more houses until finally they crashed! Steven had to work a 20 hr. shift at some Halloween "crazy" fest, so we were happy that Ashley and Mason were here to keep us company. Good times!

Pumpkin carving!
I know Im a bit late on posting all these things. I just can't get motivated to blog these days. Anyways, we had a great time carving pumpkins and listening to Halloween music. Jaden was excited to dig in the pumpkin and scoop out all the insides (with a glove on of course). It was a fun night had by all.

Photoshoot!
My mom and I took the boys to get there pics taken because we didn't have any professional pics of the boys together. Also my mom wanted her framed portrait of Tyler so he matched the other grandkids. It was a real stressful day trying to get them to smile and we were exhausted by the time it was over. I wasn't to thrilled with how they came out particularly because the lady didn't try real hard to get Tyler to smile. It is what it is! Here are a few. Enjoy!

Love this crazy kid!
Karate Kid!
Jaden started Karate and of coarse, he loves it! He did so great following directions his first day even though he had no idea what to do or expect. He just went out there with the other 15 or so kids in his class and as he likes to say "I'll do my best mom." So cute!! He is also the youngest in his class, the others are between 4-6, so I thought he might be intimidated but nope he went out there like an old pro. This kid is shy but when it comes to sports he is soo confident. I wanted to cry because I cant believe how grown up he is getting.

Butterflies Alive!
We went to the Butterflies Alive exhibit in Santa Barbara with my mom and sisters. It was the coolest thing to watch these butterflies upclose. They are so beautiful. Jaden had so much fun carrying around the little butterfly info guide and showing us each butterfly and letting us know what they were called. Ty was fascinated as I let the butterflies flutter on his face. So cute! :)

Tyler turns 1!
My baby turned one on August 12, but I'm a little late on posting. I can't believe how fast he is growing into a little boy. :( He is such a happy little baby so full of life and sunshine. He brings so much joy to our lives.
Some facts about Ty:
He weighs 22 lbs. and is in the 50% and is in the 25% for height. Little guy surprisingly.
He can walk holding on to furniture but is still a little hesitant to let go and stand or walk on his own.
He can say mama, dada, uh-oh, ball, "this" (while pointing to something) and can do a couple of baby signs.
He can throw a ball like a rocket.
He loves to bully his brother and wrestle with him.
He is a screamer and has a good set of lungs.
He's a daddy's boy!
He is very smart and understands pretty much everything we say.
He has a temper and is quite stubborn at such a young age. :)
He loves his big brother and watches everything he does.
We just love our little Ty!
