Why a Student Massage?

At St. Moritz Massage School, our students are learning how to become amazing massage therapists, and an important part of their training is to provide massage therapy to the public! The students get a chance to practice their new skills, and our guests are able to receive an exceptional massage at a much lower cost than the average massage.

What Do We Offer?

We offer a variety of massages year-round.  Guests can enjoy a 50-minute massage for $49 or take advantage of one of our advanced treatment massages for $69.  Advanced treatment massages include salt stone, deep tissue and our 80-minute signature massage.  Cash tips can be gifted to the students at the discretion of the guest.  It is not expected but always appreciated.

How to Prepare for Your Massage?

• Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment. Arriving late will result in a shorter massage that will still need to be paid in full. 
• Intake forms will be attached in your reminder email. We highly encourage you to fill these forms out prior to your treatment and be honest and open for our students to provide the best treatment plan.
• Note, our student practitioners will ask additional questions based on your consent form, and explain their treatment plan. You will be asked about medical conditions and medications prior to each massage. Please update your intake forms accordingly.

What Can I Expect During my Massage?

• Guests should remain under the sheet and blanket throughout the entire treatment.
• Throughout your entire massage professional draping ( covering of the body ) will be used for privacy.
• Any clothing that you choose to leave on will be considered a boundary and cannot be uncovered. Compressive techniques over the sheet and blanket will be used, with your consent.
• If at any time during your treatment you feel uncomfortable please voice that to your student practitioner immediately.
• Instructors will be present and may enter the room at various times throughout your massage. The instructors are there to help the student practice and master the techniques that they are using. The instructor may demonstrate a stroke or two on your body during your massage if required for training the student.

Please note all of our student practitioners are in various stages of their curriculum and can not commit to a specific level of pressure or techniques.

What Can I Expect After my Massage?

• Guests will be required to fill out an evaluation at the end of their session in the waiting room. Good feedback is giving them one thing you really enjoyed and one area to continue to work on to help our students continue to grow.
• Please drink plenty of water. It is not unusual to experience some soreness after a deep session or light bruising.

Please note our student practitioners will provide you feedback and recommendations after your massage in support of your goals.

Facility Guidelines

• Please silence your cell phones upon entering the St. Moritz facility.
• St. Moritz provides an environment that is safe and professional. Behavior that is detrimental to the welfare or safety of others, students, or school personnel is strictly forbidden.
• St. Moritz campus is a drug and alcohol-free zone.

Hours of Operation?

The massage clinic is open on select days, starting Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am until we take our last guest at 4:00 pm. Massage treatments are booked by appointment only and we cannot accommodate walk-ins.

Where is the Saint Moritz Massage School Guest Entrance?

Please see the map below. We are located in the Carrara Place Business Center. The arrow shows to enter through the back of the building off Caley Ave, NOT the front. At the back, there is a parking lot and a separate entrance for the school, so guests do not need to enter through the main building. This entrance is marked in bright green on the map. We will also have a banner outside our door to help guide visitors. If anyone has issues finding us, they can call or text the Academics Program Manager at 720.309.3390.

Can Minors Receive Massages?

Guests must be 18 years or older to receive a massage.

Why Does the Online Scheduling Require a Credit Card to Book?

All reservations require a credit card to hold the appointment. We only charge cards in the case of our 24 hour cancellation policy. For cancellations within 24 hours we charge a 50% cancellation fee.

1. Visit our online store and scheduler.
2. Create an account or log in to your account.
3. Once logged in, three tabs appears at the top.  Click Appointments to schedule a massage appointment.
4. A gray tool bar will appear towards the top half of the page with various options. Click My Schedule to view any scheduled appointments.

How To Use

1. Online scheduling required, appointments are scheduled directly through the merchant online at St Moritz Academy Massage School Mindbody. St Moritz Academy Massage School Mindbody.
2. To schedule your appointment you must first create a MindBody account or log in to an existing MindBody account.
3. All guests are required to secure appointments with a credit card even with the purchase of a Groupon. St Moritz Academy has a cancellation policy. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before a scheduled treatment will result in a 50% cancellation fee if the voucher cannot be found.
4. Please schedule the corresponding Appointment Type to the Groupon. For example, if you purchased a deep tissue massage, schedule a deep tissue massage to ensure you receive the correct treatment.
5. When scheduling your appointment you can enter your 7-digit Groupon voucher number in the notes section. Entering your Groupon number is not required, however you MUST have your voucher available at check-in or your credit card will be charged.
6. To change or cancel your appointment you can log in to MindBody, and go to MY SCHEDULE where edits can be made to any future appointments.
