What credit cards do you accept? Expand

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

When and how will I receive my books once I order them? Expand

All orders within the continental United States are shipped via Media Mail, unless you request a different method. Orders for in-stock items are usually shipped the next business day. Transit time from St. Louis is approximately 2 to 5 business days. Orders can be shipped Next Day Air or Second Day Air for an additional shipping charge. International orders will be shipped via the US Postal Service unless otherwise requested.

If I order an eBook, how can I access it? Expand

After ordering an eBook, you will receive an email with a username and a link to change your password. This will enable you to access your purchased content by logging on to our eLibrary. STM Learning eBooks are not available to download and require an internet connection to access. Select titles are available as Kindle versions through Amazon.

What kind of discount can I expect if I order a large quantity of titles? Expand

What is your return policy? Expand

You may return a book within 30 days of purchase provided that it is in like-new condition. Opened CD-ROMs may be exchanged for the same title if they are defective. Please call us at 314.434.2424 before returning an item to ensure that we process your return quickly and correctly.

Do you accept purchase orders? Expand

Yes, from within the United States. The simplest way to place a purchase order is to email it to orders@stmlearning.com, fax it to 314.434.2425, or mail it to the STM Learning office at:

Will you send my books with an invoice enclosed so I can pay after I receive the book? Expand

If you are an organization, hospital, or government institution, we will need a purchase order. If your organization does not do purchase orders, then we will need a letter written on the official stationary of the organization stating clearly what books are being ordered at what price, and have it signed by a person that has the authority to make the purchase. For individuals, we will need pre-payment by check, credit card, or PayPal.

Will you bill me for an order outside of the continental United States? Expand

All orders out of the continental United States must be pre-paid.

What is the shipping cost outside of the continental United States? Expand

Shipping costs outside of the continental United States vary. Contact us by email, fax, or phone, and we will be glad to send you a quote for the book(s) you are interested in, including the shipping cost to your location.

How can I obtain a desk copy or review a book to consider using it in my class? Expand

How soon can I expect delivery of a title that has not been published yet? Expand

Publication dates are approximate and cannot be predicted accurately. You may contact us and we will give you our best guess at any given time.

What is your privacy policy? Expand

We do not sell our customers’ information to third parties. Your information will be used solely for the purpose of processing your order and to occasionally inform you of new products or discounts from STM Learning.

Why did you change your company name to STM Learning? Expand

We changed our name from G.W. Medical Publishing to more accurately reflect the wide range of resources we offer. Our products are used by many other professions outside of the medical field, including law enforcement, criminal justice, social services, and education. STM (which stands for “Scientific, Technical, Medical”) Learning better captures the diversity of products we offer consumers.
