[ a soft laugh, not quite amused, not quite pleased, but halfway there. around her, there's the quiet rush of air, as if she's speaking from somewhere windy ]

Interfering with your matters has never been my task, but I do wonder where these current events will take you. Surely those of you who have been restless for excitement must be satisfied now? [ another quiet laugh that sounds almost a little sad. a 'shame on you' sort of sad. ]

Perhaps you would tell me what is on your minds?

I must say that it has been quite fascinating to watch the manner in which all of you choose to treat your familiars. They do say that pets tend to resemble their owners, or that one can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat an animal.

I certainly hope that you have all expressed the proper thanks towards those who were responsible.

Indulge my curiosity, if you will: have any of you granted names towards your companions yet?

And I must wonder -- will you take this for granted, or be truly thankful for it?

[ in general, the air will be come slightly more breathable. but more noteworthy are the patches of almost-completely-clean air that have suddenly appeared all over the city. the clean air in these areas will not deplete, but the clean air isn't going anywhere, either. characters in these areas can breathe without a mask no-problem. ]

And how has everyone enjoyed the ball? After all, the hosts did put so much effort into it.

The weather is still rather cold and I do hope that no one is feeling any all effects. Though -- winter air can be quite good for one's health, hmm?

[ ooc ; there's a slight shift in the air. nothing bad, but the air feels clearer, cleaner, and a lot more refreshing. more oxygen, too, so character might feel a bit invigorated. ]

So many pleas that the city be saved, and yet, when the chance is presented to do some good, so many choose to linger and do nothing.

We can't have that now, can we?

I would suggest that those of you who are able go to assist your comrades, if you wish to return to some semblance of the life you led before the catastrophe.

[ ooc ; People in the cathedral may notice a chill breeze sweeping through the corridors, and the air thinning a bit -- not enough to be truly torturous, but more than enough to be cold and unpleasant. However, if a character goes nearer the ports to the keys & etc., the breeze will let up a bit and the air won't be quite so thin. What can this mean, hmm? ]

It certainly seems that you've been having fun in the city, without our supervision.

Do tell, how do you plan to rectify this situation?

My, my. The city has certainly changed, during my absence.

I take it that the other two have kept you entertained, thus far. Perhaps a third would not be too much to handle?
